Yes, all four who testified had received money from the Fund, I believe. Guiffre got half a mill from Epstein according to the 2009 settlement recently released and is suing PA for $25m. I don't know if Guiffre got a settlement from the Epstein Estate as well though.

And she received an undisclosed settlement from her civil defamation lawsuit against Maxwell.

That's right. Also, I quoted the wrong PA amount - she is suing him for $75m I think. Thinking about the 2009 settlement, I think that would bar her from claiming anything from the Epstein Estate, which is likely why she is now suing PA.

$75 million?! Wow! That seems excessive, imo.

Just bringing the link for all Guiffre documents forward. I checked and it is $75m.

"JURISDICTION AND VENUE 14. This Court has diversity jurisdiction over this dispute pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a)(2). Plaintiff is a citizen of a State and Defendant is a citizen of a foreign state, and the amount in controversy exceeds the sum or value of $75,000.00 excluding interests and costs."

It is the first document on the list- dated 9 Aug 2021.

My cynical view of this is that as he is now just a private citizen, the Crown cannot be sued if he loses. We already know that he was not at any official functions when the UK incident allegedly happened based on the Court Circular.

Re Prince Andrew, yes I believe all the Royal Family have thr surname Windsor, from House of Windsor based on Windsor Castle, the oldest Royal residence.

He has handed back the HRH and the military titles. I believe he will still be known as Prince Andrew and Duke of York however. MOO.

Thank you. The name issue only came up because one of the articles mentioned he was fighting this as a citizen without titles. I assume he will still be referred to as Prince Andrew in court documents as well.

My glasses could probably use fine tuning too. ;)

Probably is a good idea for me to check in future - especially if something looks unusual, like $75 mill compensation.

What do you think she would accept if they try to settle? ( Bearing in mind I don't think an apology is likely after all the denials.)

I honestly think she just wants to see him admit that he had sex with her. If he doesn't acknowledge that then she probably won't settle and it could drag on for a long time costing them both a lot of money in legal expenses.
