JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

I saw that earlier today. I guess she couldn't keep the act up for long.
Well she's also lost Mark Means her attorney. I wonder how she will like her new one or if they've had much contact yet. I doubt Chad and Prior (atty) are real happy, they have tried like heck to get his case severed from hers but they should be happy now they can proceed... I somehow doubt they are though...

Here's Nate from East Idaho News. 15 minutes. Thorough as always.

He reminds us that it was just days after charges came for murder and conspiracy that Mark Means said Lori wasn't competent and needed care and to be evaluated (paraphrasing)... My comment to that: It was convenient timing wasn't it...? All seemed fine for her in jail to that point or she was managing...

Mark Means is off the case as we know as the judge took him off. I guess Lori's public defender is very experienced in big murder cases and even death penalty cases.

Trial in January is for ten weeks...

Lori's arraignment will be next Tuesday at 1 p.m. and Nate should be streaming it. Comment: I wonder how she is doing and how she looks? Did her rest in the hospital rejuvenate her? As Nate says, we haven't seen her in some time...

Chad is facing the death penalty and the prosecutor will be deciding and announcing if Lori is going to be facing the death penalty as well. We should know within 60 days.

It is an in person hearing as far as he knows meaning Lori will have to be present.

Lol people asked him if he would be present when she is transported back from hospital, I guess as he has been present before for things or found ways... He says she will be transported back very quietly and it will be very hushed avoiding press etc. and travel plans will not be shared...

She will for the first time be charged and charges read from a judge to her that she murdered her son, daughter, and husband's wife...

And here is Nate with Kay and Larry. And they are being quite vocal. I'm with Larry in that Lori played the sytem as usual with this competency thing. He called her a crayon painted bimbo lol or something on that order. They are happy at this news and plan to make her face them so to speak etc. or say she will HAVE to.

Most are saying clearly she had access to color. I don't know it seems to me I saw her where I felt her real color was like a dull light to medium brown. Some old picture maybe or something...

One thing for sure though is this is not that highighted bleached blonde she was sporting... She also isn't in jail garb so I'm thinking she had access to other clothing, maybe some normal hair color, etc....?

I think she probably wore street clothes at the mental facility, within their guidelines.

It could be which also then though makes me wonder if they can bring in their own clothing (if it is), if they can also have toiletries, hair color, brush, etc. unlike jail. Personally I think it should be like jail as they are being "held" without bond or unable to make bond and re charged, but it likely isn't the same with the rules as jail is.

I'm not sure what mental facilities rules are. Just what I've read. It sounds like a little more freedom is afforded.

According to Scott, no more live streams of this case. If I have it right reporters can record and play once a hearing, etc. is over. I'm not sure what this helps?

Also Lori's attorney has asked for help and a co-counsel. Per Scott, this is not unusual, needed and should be granted in such cases. He did say Archibald could have asked sooner/before now.

A good mix, about 20 minutes. Some really dumb criminal contestants for the week's competition of the dumbest. A bit about Petito on it and some others. The Todt case and verdict. I guess the judge handed down many life sentences upon his recent conviction.

Two great crime Youtubers. Linda w/Lauren on this case. They may cover other cases but I have no idea yet. Just watching now and interesting so far on Daybell case. Not sure if I'll get to watch it all any time soon or not. Probably not. Going to watch it until tired and head for bed. And then back to real life never ending stuff. Posting for others. These two seem a good pairing for a show so far it is good. Maybe someone else can watch it all and I can check back for comments on the rest of it if I can't finish it.
