JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

They were allowed an unrecorded phone call in July 2022. No meetings.
So the strategy meetings were denied?

"Lori Vallow Daybell says her children died in her brother's apartment and she wants to meet with her husband for "strategy sessions." She also believes she does not qualify for the death penalty.
That's according to several new motions filed by her attorneys within the past week. With settlement proposals, mediation, motions and trial fast approaching, Lori and Chad would like to be able to talk together in person and on the phone about their options," Jim Archibald, Lori's attorney, wrote in a motion.
The couple was married in Hawaii on Nov. 5, 2019, and Lori was arrested the following February. Archibald noted she spoke with Chad on multiple recorded jail phone calls until he was arrested on June 9, 2020.
Since then, they have only talked to each other one time, according to Archibald. It was on an arranged call in July 2022 between Chad, Lori and their attorneys.
"The call was approved by the prosecuting attorney and sheriff and was not recorded," Archibald said.
If Boyce approves the motion, Archibald says he and co-counsel John Thomas will attend in-person meetings and phone conversations, along with John Prior, Chad's attorney.
"The attorneys … will not record the conversations and will not use the conversations as evidence. The conversations can be deemed as for settlement purposes only," Archibald wrote."

And that was why Alex took JJ to his apartment.

Was Tammy visiting her parents around that time ?
No, it was in October. Not long before her being shot at and then dying later. If I recall correctly, he first said or Lori did (I think him) he foresaw she would die in a car accident... And then here he is having her travel... Alone...

This is all such a complicated mess of murders, attempted murders and relationships that it is difficult to follow all the dynamics.

On that note it is time I got some shuteye.

You have been outstanding with finding this and doing timelines. Phenomenal. But here too, I knew this case inside out but there is soooooo much, I forget some until it rings a bell.

Different time zone. I traveled most of my first weekend off for the first time in awhile just to see my mom and family on Mother's Day for a few hours and yet never get any time to take care of soooo much I need to in my own life. So this is my partial day off left after getting home later than midday to only try to get showered and ready for work yet again tomorrow early and try to convince my cats they have an owner that is home on occasion, get laundry done, etc.

This IS a case of so much no doubt... I actually still will give kudos to the prosecution that they were able to pick out what was necessary in this trial from the mass of other sh*t and murders and witnessses, etc.

TY for that. I find it helpful for myself to see things in black and white and figure others will too.
Glad you had some family time. Hope the new job hours are better for you.

I don't know why they both didn't just throw Alex under the bus.
That was the only defense I could think of.

Their case is so weak though. They had all of that discovery before we did so they knew about all the texts, etc. It was a blessing in disguise that Alex didn’t have an iPhone.

PLUS no one could picture Lori's defense blaming Chad. They could picture Chad throwing Lori under the bus though...
Isn’t that interesting that we can imagine him throwing her under the bus and not her throwing him under the bus? Does that mean we believe she believes what she’s saying regarding her evil religious mantra ? And that he’s just a plain phoney being led by his storm?

I do think she was bamboozled by him and his books. She wanted to believe she was an immortal goddess. I also think she has mental problems. Maybe even a schizophrenic personality disorder.

If I were the prosecutor: I'm willing to take the death penalty off the table, but you have to let us know the whole story from how you met Lori, and everything after that leading up to the deaths you two pulled off. If you aren't 100% honest, the agreement will be considered breached.
No.

Honestly, I'd be willing for him to just plead guilty in exchange for LWOP.

Was nice to have some family time although it was very short. My hours are still long but I need them so not going to complain. At least not today lol.

Yeah, I like to see this in print too.
