JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

What I like about this episode is that Adam went from the beginning to the end of his experience during the time that Charles was killed. I couldn’t quite grasp certain things like why didn’t he try to contact Charles again, etc. He explains all of the events in order and it makes sense now.
Yeah, we've heard much of it before but not like this and not this fully I'd say. It seemed as if they took the things people question and Rex asked him those questions we have and he filled it in and answered it all.

I don't know if you got a chance to watch the cousin on HTC but she mentions a few things she wishes they would touch on/cover and I'd agree. Even though we've watched her before, it was worth a watch.

Justin Lum interviews Tammy's aunt, Vicki. I have watched the first third of it so far and she touches on a lot of things.

We get an idea of what she will likely say in court today, I think. 45 minutes long in total.

I've watched a few minutes, going to try to watch more. Don't know if I've seen this aunt before, I certainly don't recall her. We've seen less from Tammy's side than anyone's I think.

Totally heavy work schedule but don't work until 1 tomorrow and Lori's sentencing starts in the morning I think. I HAVE tor remember and listen to what I can while I have to be doing other things! A LONGGGG time coming this has been!

26 minutes in out of 45. Definitely recommend. NIce to see Tammy represented. Worth listening to even aside from that.

Who is Ron though? I'm guessing ?ammy's mother's husband? This family has been devastated and Tammy's mom was very much so. They've been really unrepresented imo.

I listened to her last night. The only thing I don’t like about those live feeds is that they last so long.

It appears the kids are 100% behind their dad. Maybe they think Lori is an evil spirit? Whatever it is, I’m sure it has caused a parting of the ways in Tammy’s family.

Ron is Tammy's father. You may remember he requested a link to watch the trial remotely but the judge denied it. Tammy's mother died two months after that denial.

See DM link at the bottom.

There are two links to the live sentencing in the East Idaho news article below for anyone who wants to see the impact statements and sentencing.

"Yet, despite the fact that strangers may take a ringside seat, the family members' applications were denied last week.

Matthew Douglas, one of Tammy's three brothers who also lives in Utah, reacted to the judge's decision on social media last month, revealing he too had planned to file the same request.

'I was working on filing my own request this afternoon, but seeing as they denied my Dad, no reason to bother. The closer we get to trial, the more hearings that are held, the more disappointed I've been in Judge Boyce,' he wrote in a March 21 Facebook post."

I'm not a Judge Boyce fan and totally agree with them. Tammy's poor parents, not even allowed to view the trial without attending.

Imo he is the one for some reason news and most don't blame for Lori losing the DP. He held up everything over these years as much or more than anyone.

I thought Ron was Tammy's mom's husband after listening to the aunt mention him. And i always thought her two natural parents were married but it threw me when the aunt kept calling him Ron so I thought maybe mom's husband or a stepdad but just so busy and when time to think on it yes, she isn't Tammy's sister, it is her aunt so of course she'd refer to Tammy's parents by their names. So he is dad. Got it now. Thank you.

More recent one by Nate. I am going down for the count, very tired but would have a bit to say otherwise about the victim statement b.s. and more.

But aside from that, all of it is worth a lot. He gets Justin Lum over and they chat and more.

Summer is submitting a statement which won't be read and she won't be there. Etc.

42 people in line, seats probably taken, don't bother going.

Again I'm tired but worth ah watch. Tomorrow is the day.

And I entirely disagree with the ID b.s. on victim stuff. Summer can speak on Tylee but won't be there and it won't be read in. Kay can speak on JJ but I take it not any o fhe other victims, etc. Tammy will actually likely have the most representation.

I'd have a lot to say about it all but I'm so very tired. But wanted to link it for all to watch the most recent stuff on it tomorrow. And of course Justin and Nate being there (Justin's first time there at this courthouse) who both were instrumental in covering this entire story was good.

Oh and a bit of talk about Lori thinking about saying something or so he's heard, etc.

And Summer asked that the judge not share her statement and I gather that's their right. I disagree with this.

What I'd like to know is if this would be discoverable after the case is finished. In my state imo it would be I believe.

I was thinking more of her than I had all along when I heard her call with Lori. I am now going the other way again because she is to represent TYLEE.

Nate will be lvie at 7 ID time in the a.m. And I'm over and out. I'm wiped. Good night to all. If this sentencing goes on longer than I have before work tomorrow, hoping to be able to check here on break and see what's significant.
