JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

It’s possible that LE sat on this for months because they knew his death was natural and they desperately wanted to find more leverage with Lori to find the children.
With Tammy, I’m not so sure. Why would Chad cremate her and did all the children agree? I don’t know.

That makes sense that LE may well have done that or the tox took that long.

I found it odd that the coroner gave the blood clot to LE to take, that was the oddest statement to me in the report. It sure looks like it was natural but I can't help but still be suspicious, I can't shake it even though it looks legit. Just so unexpected I guess with all of the other things surrounding his death like his odd marriage for one, and so many more.

Wow, this is a mind boggling case, just started to inform myself about it...does anybody still have hopes for those kids to be alive?:(
I just got into this case recently. Grandma bear helped me a lot. So did everyone on this thread. There are so many players and angles. It gets easier once you figure out who the players are. I’m not kidding though, it’s like a multi-act play.
The way I look at it is everyone connected to the disappearance of the children is part of the doomsday cult of Chad Daybell.
and everyone trying to find the children are extended family members who are not a part of this cult.
It is truly shaking out to be the bad guys versus the good guys.
Hoping the good guys win soon!

I guess the LE wanted the clot for examination and more toxicology? Maybe the FBI lab has the clot? Strange.

Yeah, it just struck me as an odd statement in there. It just sounded like the detective wanted it and she just handed it over like here, I'm done with it  Just sounded so informal. To me anyhow :)
Yes but I just wonder if after awhile of performing autopsies, if coroners become a bit jaded and make jokes or do stuff like that anyway?

Lets face it. How many normal people wake up and say “ oh! I want to become a coroner or a mortician?”
I hope not many. I’m sure to them it’s normal. Maybe they loved Biology and dissecting animals. It creeped me out! I couldn’t even believe my granddaughter wanted to a nurse. Lol. And I’m so grateful for good nurses. But seriously, it takes all kinds.
Back to the coroner maybe she did simply say “sure, here ya go. I’m done”.

Well I paraphrased it, it wasn't quite that casual but close. It just struck me as a strange statement I guess. The entire report is medical terminology, etc. and then all of a sudden a statement about giving a blood clot to LE right on the scene the way it sounded. I guess I would think it would sound more like, we carefully bagged the clot, labeled, it, etc. and perhaps they did it just was not phrased like that :D I may be the only person it struck as odd :D

I too cannot imagine doing any of those things. My mom told me I was a good nurse when I was taking care of her a few times but that is a whole lot different than what one has to do in their job, for who and the various duties--it would never appeal to me and a coroner or mortician, no, I don't think so.

I guess it is good someone wants to do those jobs but I don't understand the desire to do so.

I have absolutely no medical knowledge, zero. But maybe the ME thought that the clot could be useful if there was more in depth testing required ?

Yeah, I have no idea. At first I thought it was collected for evidence but then I thought well, it doesn't prove there was foul play so it is not evidence for that, it shows natural causes. I would think if there was testing to do on it the coroner would do that or send it out. I am probably making too big of a deal of it for no reason lol. Maybe he wanted it so if the public did not believe the natural causes he could hold it up in a press conference and say see, there really was a clot that killed him lol. I don't like talking that way about the dead but he did kill his brother-in-law and probably did more than that.

We have to know there is still a lot fishy with Alex. His wife told her son he was just her boyfriend.
I think he likely took her last name and was maybe hiding out in case Tammys autopsy found something. But then he died.
That's a very interesting theory! I don't remember when this case first hit the headlines? If it had before he died, he would have known he couldn't hide anywhere.

Now you guys have me thinking about this clot. Could the FBI have wanted to test it to see what caused it? Is there such a thing?

I may regret bringing this up LOL. I just found it a strange sentence. But it does seem odd. I mean coroners even will send out brain slices to a specialist more renowned than themselves, toxicology out, etc. So I just don't get why they would not send the clot out I guess or why LE would want it? It didn't say they asked for proof of any of the other tests or for more blood etc. to sample. Do you think it is odd too? I just can't figure out a reason. If they had found a bullet in him, now THAT I WOULD UNDERSTAND BEING handed over to LE.

And now that you mention it, you have me wondering. Could the clot itself be something they want tested by some major expert as you say, the FBI having it double checked? Maybe it can only be tested once or something... Arghh.
