Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events
  • April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
  • December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.
  • February 2019 - Charles Vallow files for divorce from Lori, claiming she viewed herself as a god preparing for the second coming, and she would kill him if he got in her way.
  • February - April 2019 - Lori disappears for nearly two months, leaving her children with others.
  • June 2019 - Lori's niece demands a divorce from her husband, who says she shares similar beliefs to her aunt.
  • July 11, 2019 - Charles Vallow shot and killed by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Shooting initially ruled self-defense.
  • August 2019 - Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho with kids
  • September 3, 2019 - Joshua "JJ" Vallow enrolled in school
  • September 23, 2019 - JJ last attended school
  • September 24, 2019 - Lori unenrolls JJ from school, saying she would be homeschooling him.
  • September 2019 - Tylee also seen in September, but it's unclear when and where (she had graduated early)
  • October 2, 2019 - Lori's niece's ex-husband was shot at, missing his head by inches. Shooter was driving a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow.
  • October 9, 2019 - Tammy Daybell, Chad's wife, called 911 and said a masked man shot at her with a paintball gun.
  • October 19, 2019 - Tammy Daybell dies, death is ruled natural
  • October 25, 2019 - Tylee, or someone using her phone, texts a friend
  • Late October / Early November 2019 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow get married
  • November 26, 2019 - Welfare check requested for JJ at the request of extended family - police are told he is in Arizona with family, but he is not
  • November 27, 2019 - Police return to serve a search warrant, finding the Daybell's gone
  • December 12, 2019 - Lori's brother, who had shot her ex-husband, dies mysteriously in Arizona
  • December 20, 2019 - Search for JJ and Tylee goes public
  • December 30, 2019 - LE says Lori knows where her children are but will not cooperate
  • January 25, 2020 - Chad & Lori are located in Hawaii, served with a notice that she must produce the children within 5 days
  • January 30, 2020 - Lori fails to produce JJ and Tylee

It was heartbreaking and her voice broke but Samantha's last answer of "yes, two children" was impactfuland that's where Lindsey Blake ended her questioning.

Short of a rogue juror, I don't care what else goes on or what defense is put on, imo Chad Bubby Daybell is done for.

Anyone else familiar with this term? I'm not, but my ex and his siblings referred to a passed grandpa as Bubby. I'd never heard it anywhere else until now and never rquesetioned it, just figured it was some childhood nickname in their case? Anyone?

and just one thing out of many, both MELS as I keep saying.... Even DAvid.

Some think Mel P knew and was involoved, some think neither, etc.

So many reasons she reminds of.

And Z. Etc.

Z though got an immunity deal and was the only one on the stand who admitted to the 7 gatherers and the email. Both Mels were like no? Never heard of that, etc. LIARS.
 
She also points out what I've always said--Mel G and David just happen to be visiting the weekend of JJ's murder? She also talks of Ian. Personally I'd go further than she does with a few things...
 
I don't know how long Annie will go on, could be ten hours, could be four. I have watched all of hers but it has been some years.

I think things I say here but I don't say all of what I think because I know most don't see it or think it. About the Mels, about Colby, about Z, about Emma, etc. but my logic SEES it. I say a bit but I dont' take it too far. I haven't watched her in a long time but my goodness do I feel like someone sees what I see that I can't quite ever say too much about. She gets lengthy and I don't know how long this will go on it is still live but in the years I have been on CW I could NEVER PUSH anything harder to watch. And LISTEN TO. Covers Jason Mow. Covers ALL. Emma. Colby. Both Mel's. Z. Etc. I have hinted at what I feel I've seen and I feel some have let go or forgotten or just never seen, but she comes right out with it and the reasons....
 
Grab it now she has said she may private this video. I don't know if it will go two hours six hours tne nours but I can't drag myself away and I need to go to Ed. WELL worth it.

In other words they are going to commit perjury. Prosecution has asked witness after witness after witness what kind of health was in and how she seemed THAT day even and all answers have been positive and in good health.

He's probably going to have some doctor say homeopathic or natural medicines can cause symptoms like Chad claimed she had and/or death. Won'f fly imo.

Little Miss Emma better watch herself. She exercised with mom and people at those classes or the teacher (don't recall all) said she kept up with intensive workouts just fine so for Emma to try to say otherwise would be pure perjury imo. They'll probably say she put on a good face in public but privately hid a lot which also will not fly imo. She did not miss work, exercise, etc. and was FINE THAT DAY.

I think there's a good chance all jurors aren't happy with Chad and his attorney criticizing Tammy's weight and body shaming. And then her BIL SAID Chad told him what was it, the marriage, sex, relationship with Tammy was bland or vanilla or some such and routine. You know no spice or spark or whatever. It sounds like he was such good friends with the BIL and all and I just fail to see men who give this all up over some other woman and it wasn't like Lori was some YOUNGER woman to speak of either. Wreck years of family ties and friendships BUT THIS was far more than just an affair, this was murder, coming up with the stupidest warped religious cult to profit and murder and murder of CHILDREN, spouses and what he did was far beyond an affair, divorce or remarrying. Jurors aren't going to like any of these things imo said by Chad AND his attorney. AND his kids are going to say such OPPOSITE thnigs of what everyone else did the jurors are going to be like HUH? And then realized probably pretty quickly they are lying and controlled like everyone else was by Chad...

I think Wood or Blake or whoever goes in cross should go at them fairly hard. That's risky sometimes but they are not children and imo jurors will know why, because their stories don't match a VARIETY of tons of other witnesses.

And Prior should think about cross... And maybe think twice about having them on the stand but he won't. Imo. Not all are going to testify imo. Emma will, she's daddy's little wife/mommy almost I swear. His warrior-ette. His savior they hope I'm sure. And even if Prior DID NOT have them I think at least Garth would be called by the P, subpoenaed. Maybe not but I think he would/will be. He'd be adversarial or a hostile witness I suppose... Who knows though with all of them, some may have changed their tune over time... Doubtful but perhaps....

Annie in that recent video had opinions on Emma, on Colby, on he Mels and Z too and so on. They mirror many of mine or are close to the same thinking and reasoning anyhow. I don't come down real hard on Colby but there are things that have bothered me with him but I let some slide somewhat because look who his mother is AND allt he loss he himself sustained. He was also a pretty young adult and so were some of Chads, can't recall if all, but ALL are older now. I did NOT LIKE Emma's remark about Colby though to her dad when he was in the cop car I believe it was.

I almost hope she sticks her tongue out at the reporters in the courtroom. Or at the prosecution. That should make her testimony even less believable. She's made me wonder a LOT of things about her and these crimes and how far she'd go for dad. Someone said her and Tammy were quite close but she sure turned on her once dead imo...

I worked a solid hard ten hour day on my feet and they kept us after! They do this a few times a year, maybe more when busy and things get behind, to straighten up rows or do freight and so on. Was not happy about it although was all OT. NO ONE is allowed to go home until they call it although I saw a carryout guy leave. He had better be a minor and maybe rules on how late he can work or how many hours but I doubt it somehow on a Saturday....I let them schedule me ten hours and I think since they get that from me I SHOUILD be allowed to leave as well. Others haven't been there that many hours, let them put that extra in.

Anyhow this is my first post tonight, it is already inching towards 11 and I have to go back again of course tomorrow. Arggghhh.

It may be firing squad. It isn't the chair. It's drugs and if ID can't get the drugs and they've been unable to, it will be firing squad. I may be wrong, maybe it's the drugs before they use the chair but I don't think so. Not sure. I think the firing squad thing is passed anyhow.. Pretty certain as an alternative since they are having trouble getting whatever drug.
 
So as always she picked up on some interesting things.

What do we think this mattress above the garage is about and it seems nonchalant but he gets in there having Emma get rid of it and to me it is supposed to sound like normal talk but I find it odd. And not using luminol. and the way he seems to know he is not coming back out before he even should know what the found...

Linda touches on different things but listening got me thinking.

And how his computers weren't in the warrant but he has them with him and wants her to take them.

A ton sounds like Emma has already been helping. Never really thought of it before but what's the stuff about her understanding and doing mom's stuff? After TAmmy died maybe, was she Chad's helper when he was never the one doing the finances or something else is meant?

She seems to know what passwords are being talked of and which accounts without the full names being given. Does he like have a book he is showing her with all the info?

Just a lot of odd stuff. Imo. And he is imo hinting at some things that she already knows about so he doesn't have to say anyitning incriminating in full. Emma, Emma, Emma smh.

It's short. It isn't just what Linda says although very notable, it got my wheels turning. Worth a watch.
 
I was listening to the Silver linings podcast last night while I was doing things around the house. They answered questions from viewers . The silver linings podcast is with Alex and Lori’s uncle and their brother Adam. It was almost almost as interesting just to see what family thinks as anything else. But I don’t remember anything new coming out of it.

I've kind of gotten away from watching it, not intentionally but like many I was watching it doesn't pop up for me any longer and so kind of forgot about it and don't go seeking it s I forget and barely keep up with trials and news and all as it is. I did see hem as guests on a show recently and I forget which one lol already. Couple of weeks ago. I know Rex and daughter attended one day of trial this week. I haven't even caught up with all Linda's nightlies but think I am MOSTLY up on all Nate's. May have missed one or two maybe a week back.
