JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

1580704661510.png

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

First of all, for anyone still wondering if Chad and Lori were really legally married, Nate shows the Hawaii marriage license.

Next, prepare yourself. Here is Lori on camera representing herself in court and she's OH SO CAPABLE AND PREPARED. I'm only ten minutes in of 30.

Oh and Summer and Janice are there. I guess supporting her...? Nate said she seemed happy to see them...

It's a pretty interesting watch really. Wasn't quite as sickening to watch as a lot of things she speaks at, pulls. I don't think she really knows what she's doing but she wants the trials to proceed on time.

Nate did have to go play that old statement she made at the other trial of how Jesus knows her, etc. I could have done without hearing that again lol.

I watched it last night. It’s going to be a zany trial and they say that the prosecution is only going to be presenting for a couple of weeks. But they all wonder how long Lori‘s going to be presenting her case. Who knows. She might just not present a case at all.

Family members have said that she talks to her mother on a regular basis. I was surprised to hear that summer was there, though. Maybe she was there for her mom.

Well I think Justin said while I think Lori may have smiled at them, he waited to see if at the end they said anything to each other but never saw any of them do so, so hard to say.

I find it a bit odd they'd attend just some average hearing where she is representing herself, not like it was some huge thing really, I mean why bother...?

Yeah I caught that too. Prosecutor said no idea how long Lori would go, how long her questioning would be, etc. Lori sure acted like she plans on presenting a case because all her arguments were on how she needs all this stuff to plan a defense lol. Kind of funny I thought how judge was telling her nothing from the extradition records would be used at trial anyhow... Yet she goes on and on about needing such and why.

Both Nate and Justin remarked on how she's aged. Of course we could never see her face, just her from the back but they must have.

No Botox in jail, I guess.

I am thinking her defence will be that she was driving the kids to school when it happened. Who is going to dispute that as they are all deceased?

With Brendan, again she will say she was not there and will have some alibi.

I wonder if Chad will be called as a witness for the P? Or the D even?

For anyone interested, Colby has a show scheduled with his reaction to mom about 8 hours from now. Of course it will be available for replay after. Here is the link.

This is worth a listen to. The part about Lori is under ten minutes, the overall pro se topic is just over ten minutes.

Scott really makes Lori look foolish as to what she was trying to do at her recent hearing and what it is she is looking for lol. Worth it just for that.

In court video of D (LV) claiming LV did not get the chance of a speedy trial on this.

Well yeah - because she was being tried for other crapola. At the risk of stating the obvious, i also have to say that if AZ had prosecuted this timely, none of the other murders or attempted murders could have happened.

He said "the person who wants to represent themself has a fool for a client."
Lol I should watch it but haven't yet. Days have been a bit messed up lately.

That comment is usually meant to apply to attorneys. Many an atty decides to represent themselves because they have the skills. They can be a Crackerjack atty but for some reason when it comes to something personal, all their smarts go out the window and they should NEVER represent themselves.

Now people like Lori consider themselves an attorney or as good as one and they are flat out idiots and don't know the half of it. Just watching her in court the last time showed that. She is LOOKING for actual smoking gun evidence of a conspiracy. Like something that is tangible so to speak. She's so dumb. I don't think the judge could even quite follow what she was doing but that's what she is doing. she wants the extradition papers which have nothing to do with anything because she thinks the "proof" for the charge or the conspiracy may be in the early papers. Duh. The conspiracy is put together by many things, actions, etc. and not all are "tangible". She is so DUMB. She is spending her time on sh*t that doesn't matter and won't even come in.

She wants the case thrown out because they violated her right for a speedy trial. We knew this but here's a link.

The Brief

    • Lori Vallow Daybell is hoping to have her trial dismissed due to a lack of a speedy trial.
    • The "Doomsday Mom" is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder of her former husband and ex-nephew-in-law.
    • Vallow Daybell is representing herself in her Arizona trial.
PHOENIX - Lori Vallow Daybell, the so-called "Doomsday Mom," has filed a motion to dismiss her Arizona case, citing a lack of a speedy trial.

Vallow Daybell is charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the death of her former husband, Charles Vallow, and attempted murder of her ex-nephew-in-law, Brandon Boudreaux.

The shootings of Charles and Brandon happened within months of each other in 2019, and in Charles' shooting, investigators identified the suspect as Vallow's late brother, Alex Cox.

Lori Vallow was deemed competent to stand trial in Arizona during a hearing in Phoenix on Dec. 5.
According to police, the shootings of Charles and Brandon were motivated by money and a bizarre spiritual system.

Vallow Daybell is representing herself in Arizona after she was deemed competent to stand trial after questions were raised by her former attorneys.

Charles Vallow's murder trial is scheduled to begin on March 31. A trial has not been set in the Brandon Boudreaux case.

yeah, first it was wanting discovery and proof of a conspiracy and now it is the speedy trial thing. Her own attys halted her request for a speedy trial for one. Also other things play in and there are TWO cases here.

I don't think it will fly for those reasons and others and she does not know what she is doing either. I heard it covered, I believe by Scott. I don't think she will get anywhere with it.

Can you picture her questioning people like Kay? Brandon? I'd say Colby but I really can't think of a reason Colby would necessarily testify in this one.

Lolo Dumbbell's Last Hurrah is what I consider her representation of herself.

Judge denies Lori Vallow Daybell's motion to dismiss her Gilbert case

Lori Vallow Daybell's efforts to throw out one of her criminal cases in Arizona did not work.

New records obtained by 12News show show that a judge recently denied her motion to dismiss one her cases in Maricopa County.

Earlier this month, she filed to dismiss that second case out of Gilbert, claiming her right to a speedy trial was violated.

Court records now show the judge rejected that argument and said the trials could happen back-to-back. He noted that the cases experienced delays under "extraordinary circumstances," in part, due to the complexity of the cases and high volume of discovery.

In December, the judge approved Lori Vallow Daybell's request to represent herself. The motion to dismiss is part of a series of motions she's submitted to the court since she started going pro se.

Jury selection for the first trial for the case out of Chandler is scheduled to start in March.
