JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Linking this for others if interested. I've not watched it. I believe it's tonight this is supposed to air and I don't doubt maybe Nate has some exclusive early thing.

I like Nate, but I'm not watching anything to do with this Dateline thing where Lori was interviewed. Not to mention we are less than a month to trial and I just don't agree with it, AT ALL.

I'm also not attending Colby's "watch party".

Okay, I'm going to be honest. I like Nate, I decided not to be stubborn and I am watching the above. The first part of it catches a lot of filings up on the Kohberger case. Then he goes to Daybell. He's actually been in touch with Lori for a couple of years. She has I guess wanted to do an interview for some time even before sentencing. Before sentencing her attys said no. And Nate also could not get into the prison. He said the ID jail and the prison were very strict about no cameras, etc. and visitors even. Now IMO that shows this is NOT a good thing for justice or allowed in most cases. He said the AZ jail is a bit more relaxed, and anyhow Dateline got 90 minutes with her. Not all 90 will be shown in the show. Also Nate himself has things for her over his contacts with her but they are "off the record". How do they do that if he was never let in??? Jail calls and letters are monitored... Anyhow, he's shown SOME clips of the Dateline show, they've maybe also been aired to amp up interest for the show, of Colby, then Lori, etc. It LOOKS interesting but I'm not caving yet and watching it, honestly I don't think I can, I don't have TV. And I STILL don't agree with it, such are limited or access to jail/prison for a reason imo and trials are not over yet.

I am to the point in the video where Nate is going to now be with Keith.

I guess it's worth a watch so far and he had a lot of Kohberger updates as well. And the clips look pretty darned interesting...

So just letting all know. If anyone does watch it, I hope they'll share what they thought on here. The Dateline thing I mean. I'm still against it but it's going on regardless. I'm also not doing NBC or Peacock to watch it.

I watched it last night because I follow Nate and it pops up on my YouTube feed. It didn’t really tell us anything new, other than he got to interview his friend Keith.

Okay, just a few minutes into Keith. I'm not going do to a play by play through it all, but I guess would recommend watching.

I'll share the start. He thought 90 minutes would be enough time to interview anyone but he said it wasn't and that he could have went on forever and they didn't get what they wanted in that time. He says she winked at their cameras when she walked in. He said she was upbeat, happy, friendly, downright flirtatious(!) with an undertone of angry. He said she bounced all over the map in responses but that she had her OWN agenda. No surprise there...

He said she's no dummy, she knew exactly how much time they had and he felt she planned this tale so he wouldn't get to ask all of HIS embarrassing questions of her (as he puts it), etc. Now that sounds to me as if she threw Tylee under the bus again, what other tale would there be....?

I'm just getting into the Keith part now. I wouldn't think there'd be anything new, even in the Dateline episode.

Except maybe it's the first ever interview with her OTHER than Colby's first which was hard enough to listen to/listen to her b.s. in.

They even admit that she’s just talking her nonsense. I will probably listen to it on a podcast in the car, but I’m not in a big hurry.

Okay it's one thing for him to be surprised at her intelligence and capacity to control things and spin things but saying charm and humor makes me SICK. Of course he also called her attractive and their own clips shows a very lined old hag, sorry, it's all caught up with her in looks. And we've seen plenty of her "charm" and "humor" in for instance LE interviews. It would never do it for me although I guess it worked on some "dumber" type cops who would fall for anything bleached. Sorry but that's the way I see it. And her. He liked her, in a weird way, liked her a lot. PUHLEEZ.

He was frustrated and exhausted at the end. That tells me enough of what she did and spun, no need to see her. So she was in essence given a platform to tell her crazy story knocking Tylee again. Sounds like Colby gave a good interview about life with her and more.

I guess to update the thread, there is a hearing Tuesday in AZ. Nate says it will be interesting and he will be there. They will cover how long trial will take, cameras in the courtroom and such. Lori moved for Court TV not to be allowed in the courtroom and they will be there to argue that motion I gather.

I'm still against this Dateline thing and think they definitely could have held it until after trial, if only in the interest of not having more possible jurors knowing about the case, etc.

This one has some more info or a bit different than in Nate's. Sure enough the story was about Tylee. He does say he felt a "twinge" of guilty giving someone airtime who WANTS the airtime and the limelight. Well, yeah....

The reporter's questions aren't very good but his answers are.

But yes, airtime to TRASH Tylee yet again AND give her the limelight she wanted and wanted the story told BEFORE trial and they gave her all of that. I do not agree with it!

This came up after the other one. Last thing I'm watching that relates to it.

Okay, since I went there, when I didn't plan to, I'll add a few final things. That last one I linked he emphatically strongly reacted with a GOOD LORD NO to a question that I think was something like did he get to ask all he wanted or get all of the answers he wanted.

No surprise that Chad visits her in her jail cell every single night. And her kids and Jesus and Tammy come too and they are all so happy together. She met a "former" Tylee in heaven.

He also insults her a fair amount, says she makes no sense at all and is infuriating. SHe isn't going to like a lot of what he says, but he also calls her engaging and smart and such.

He said she'd be interviewed and on camera telling her stuff every day if she could. LET's HOPE that doesn't happened and this kind of thing is SHUT DOWN. Tylee does NOT deserve it and Lori deserves no attention.

Oh and by the way she is the favorite of Jesus.

Sounds to me like she ran the interview and the rare time he tried to turn it to something else it got combative and she didn't allow it.

Back to Nate's interview, both Keith and Nate knocked ID and all their crime. Keith told him he was in the right place to be a reporter because plenty of bad ones or over the top ones.

There was some info in this interview with the young female given that wasn't in Nate's. The questions were different, I found hers very basic, not great questions, but as I said good answers were given.

For anyone interested. Not sure that I'll watch. I saw enough about the Dateline thing today. I'll see if I pop in or not. This is early so guessing it's about Keith's interviews and such unless he also has him on, I'd assume the Dateline thing is later tonight. It's Colby.

I think she has some kind of bewitching ability over men.

Lol. Keith did say he could definitely see her leading a group of susceptible people, I'm sure meaning these weird beliefs, cult like crap.

I think some of what he said about her was to maybe one day get another interview... He said things that will definitely pis* her off but also a few complimentary things. I also think he's trying to show her ways and personality...

The "woman" certainly uses things like sex over men but I consider the types that fall for her total dufuses. I mean now too, she looks HARD, the life has caught up and not just the lack of bleach and Botox. When he said in Nate's at the beginning that there's an undercurrent of anger, etc. That's what I see in her the rare time we see her in court, etc. She is hardened and MAD. She tries to pull the same old flirty, or attention seeking to a point, but she's pis*Ed anyone dare do this to her or not treat her special. Imo and I am not explaining it well.

I gather Colby talks of all of the marriages and then how there were battles in all and outright wars on divorcing or custody, etc. And how hard. I see her as you cross Lori and watch out, once you do, husband or gf, you had better watch out, it will never end, she will DESTROY you, your life, your reputation and set out to have you killed. Joe, case in point...

As we were saying above, it is time she becomes irrelevant, goes away forever and is silenced yet here she is with a TV platform and now going to represent herself shortly. Keith said she said she is learning as to representing herself and the judge is fairly lenient with her. THey have to be if smart with pro SE defendants imo. That's a subject in itself.

I am SO sick of her, who isn't. I'm glad this trial looks as though it will go off here shortly and on time. I have to tell you, I'm not sure about Brandon's. She's never going to deal but as sad as it is to say, I don't think that one is quite as provable, I mean there IS enough, depending on what is let in and their pattern and the history, but it is also attempted murder and not murder. I mean it's just as awful and he could easily be dead but such cases aren't looked at quite the same or as seriously because the person survived.

I think it is something that after she is convicted of Charles, already has been with her kids and Tammy, it would be dealt on or let go but again she isn't going to deal. They will likely pursue it just due to they should with all they can on this woman/these two but I can also see it not going anywhere fast after the conviction comes for Charles. What do you think re that one?

I'm ready for her to go away, I think everyone is, but I do want justice for all as well. They all deserve their day and their justice.
