JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

“The court cannot find at this time that the interaction between Mr. Wood and the witness would render Mr. Wood’s continued participation, in this case, unfair and cannot determine that the prosecutor’s pretrial activity will be a material issue in this case,’ Boyce said.

While relieved at the decision, it was far from a clear win and there did seem to be basis for the defense's concerns. It also was clear it could still become an issue for instance if Summer testifies the way I took it.

I hope care is taken with this case. We need a conviction to keep these two killers off of the streets.

I don't think we have this here, I have never seen it before. I found it very interesting. It is an interview by reporter Justin Lum with Joe Ryan's attorney. For some reason, it says with Lori's attorney in the headline but it is not, it is Joe's attorney.

Worth a watch imo. If one did not detest Lori already, this will just add to it. I found it easy to watch, the attorney's memory and knowledge is great. The system also abused Joe Ryan in my opinion and Lori put him through he77 and back.

WOW! Very, very informative interview by Justin Lum. Thank you for posting.

I haven't seen this one! I'll check it out when I get home. :thankyou:

You're welcome. I thought it was very good. I don't know why I have never run across it anywhere until now.
Nate & Justin have kept their eyes open with the facts and this is another example of excellent journalism. This interview opened the conversation to how Lori manipulated others to get what she wanted and just how her role in the death of her children could have happened.

I agree. He asked a lot of excellent questions. The attorney was a great interviewee too, I liked his comparing her to a mafia boss; I thought it quite fitting.

I just watch the interview with Joe’s attorney and it was really good! Joe had such a sad life all the way around. Think of what his life would’ve married a decent woman.

Colby still seems to think that Joe was a molester. I’d love to see another interview with him.
I did notice even though the attorney came right out and said everything that exonerated Joe, etc. when asked if he was innocent of it all or something like that, he did not 100 percent say he was sure he was and mentioned it being subjective. I wonder actually if that was not out of respect for Colby who stood by the fact he was molested. Or perhaps it was because the exoneration was related to Tylee only and she was the one at issue. I have noted Annie stays a bit that way about it too. Probably for Colby. Or maybe it is that you just can't always 100 percent know, they think he is but you can't know 100 percent.

Yes, she took Joe on one helluva stressful and hard life, making it harder for him at every turn. And then what that does to children on top of it. It enrages me people can use the system like that and they do nothing to stop it and in fact find in her favor. The guardian ad litem comes back with seeing Lori as a perfect mother. I guess all you need is the right behavior, a nice house and to fool them for an hour or two and she was very good at it...

I found it interesting he studied the religion because religion was starting to intertwine with the case which he says is scary when that comes together with law. That's a good attorney, went above and beyond to represent his client it sounds like. And let him stay with him too.

I thought everyone into the case would like the video, glad you did.

Court TV obtained the police transcripts from when Alex died. It explains further how he was feeling poorly the week before he died.

One thing they said was that he had recently gone to Mexico to pick up prescriptions for himself and Zulema . I wonder why he went to Mexico? Or did he go to Mexico at all?

I was watching a live last night and watching the chat comments and people started talking about Alex going to Mexico... First I had heard it... It was also said the names of the drugs were blacked out on the documents... Lots of speculation and of course people saying you can get about whatever you want in Mexico... Talk of what Zulema was worried about that she needed immunity, etc...

There are a LOT of people that travel to Mexico and Canada to get meds. Much, much cheaper and often no prescription needed.

Maybe in hindsight she realized her beau was a stone cold killer. I hope it was hindsight, anyway!
