JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events
  • April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
  • December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.
  • February 2019 - Charles Vallow files for divorce from Lori, claiming she viewed herself as a god preparing for the second coming, and she would kill him if he got in her way.
  • February - April 2019 - Lori disappears for nearly two months, leaving her children with others.
  • June 2019 - Lori's niece demands a divorce from her husband, who says she shares similar beliefs to her aunt.
  • July 11, 2019 - Charles Vallow shot and killed by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Shooting initially ruled self-defense.
  • August 2019 - Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho with kids
  • September 3, 2019 - Joshua "JJ" Vallow enrolled in school
  • September 23, 2019 - JJ last attended school
  • September 24, 2019 - Lori unenrolls JJ from school, saying she would be homeschooling him.
  • September 2019 - Tylee also seen in September, but it's unclear when and where (she had graduated early)
  • October 2, 2019 - Lori's niece's ex-husband was shot at, missing his head by inches. Shooter was driving a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow.
  • October 9, 2019 - Tammy Daybell, Chad's wife, called 911 and said a masked man shot at her with a paintball gun.
  • October 19, 2019 - Tammy Daybell dies, death is ruled natural
  • October 25, 2019 - Tylee, or someone using her phone, texts a friend
  • Late October / Early November 2019 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow get married
  • November 26, 2019 - Welfare check requested for JJ at the request of extended family - police are told he is in Arizona with family, but he is not
  • November 27, 2019 - Police return to serve a search warrant, finding the Daybell's gone
  • December 12, 2019 - Lori's brother, who had shot her ex-husband, dies mysteriously in Arizona
  • December 20, 2019 - Search for JJ and Tylee goes public
  • December 30, 2019 - LE says Lori knows where her children are but will not cooperate
  • January 25, 2020 - Chad & Lori are located in Hawaii, served with a notice that she must produce the children within 5 days
  • January 30, 2020 - Lori fails to produce JJ and Tylee

i wish he was but just thinking there isn't enough. We know full well or at least I believe they planned to kill their spouses and Lori got mad when she got it done but Chad didn't...

Adam is on the witness list and we know he and Charles were in contact on the cell phones.

Lori tried to exclude all state's witnesses lol and even more so the personal ones, Kay very much so, all of them and claim it hearsay, etc. But state came back well.

Still have a bit left but Nate's video is all the recent filings and a good coverage of all the filings thus far.

And Chad was in on Brandon's too yet isn't charged, but I believe (think most do) all of such, Charles too, were conspiracies and planned.

She is just so easy to hate, they both are.... I shouldn't say that, she' will probably use all comments everywhere to appeal for the rest of her life while she sits in prison where she belongs and should go soon...
 
So Nate is having Colby on and then he is going on Colby's channel.

State is trying to preclude Lori's witnesses and vice versa yada, yada, yada. Lori isn't timely with most of these things yet insists on the speedy trial. Just to finish from earlier, quite the video, quite the filings.

If we didn't know better...

Do you remember there was a fake email she did from Charles to Chad or Tammy that was to make Tammy think that Charles knew about a visit of Chad's. I wonder if that will be mentioned in court?

I'm sure it will! It was a fake email from Charles to Chad about how nice it was to have him at their place, etc.

Yes, about helping him with a book I believe. It was to cover Chad being able to go sleep with Lori and her crew at Charles' home if I recall. I am so sick to death of her on one hand but on the other hand, she should make this quite the entertaining trial.... BUT of course that's hard on the loved ones. I'm not even sure what the judge will do re all these motions and filings.... She won't give up the speedy trial thing yet she's late with her filings... I've watched Scott on it since I've been on here too, I'm behind, and just not been a good time but that show was worth watching, cracked me up, Nate's. Now she's claiming things like the P told Nate how to avoid a subpoena and a lot more. And that her former D shared things with the P or some such that was confidential. I'm behind on all going on in a few cases out there.

You bet. I'm behind myself and lucky if I've .kept up or seen all, I get it, so try to share when I do and there are things I've wanted to share in cases that I never got around to.

This is going to be a sh*t show imo and already is becoming one. I think the judge will maintain order, be more than fair to her as he has been and the P will try not to roll her eyes lol and be professional too, but Lori, well...

Watch the one of Nate's if you get the chance. There's been a few things out besides that etc. I've not kept up either.

I didn’t have time to watch two videos so I watched the one with Colby. I liked seeing the two of them interacting. However, there wasn’t anything new as far as vase info goes, because I have watched some of Colby‘s long podcasts and he goes over a lot of what he went over with Nate. I think the only thing new that I took out of it was watching the evolving Colby through the whole process. Nate mentioned how he’s changed since the beginning and I never thought of it before, but Nate was right.

You mean Nate evolving or Colby? I assume Colby. I watched it all live, I don't always hit lives of course but I like it when I do. Lucked out on that one but I'll be reading chat while listening too

I want to be nice but I can find watching Colby a bit, what is the word, long sometimes, I mean there is no overestimating the damage his mom did to him and their family (that's putting that mildly) but last night I thought he hit some more raw feelings, mayNobe Nate's questions really through provoked. However I found Nate a little canned, I mean I could almost tell he was going through a list of questions. I wouldn't normally say that about him but then he's also been very busy lately... I felt Colby a lot more real.

No, nothing new about any of the cases but first time seeing the two of them in a show. I think Colby dug deep to explain what he was going through compared to some of his shows.

What was the other one? The one where Nate covered Lori, recent filings, etc., the hearing? That one was worth it lol imo. I felt they both were in different ways. hTere is so much going on right now that things are going to keep coming as cases head to trial in days, but it's well worth it imo before it gets old, at least for those of us who have seen what Lori is for some yrs now.

Colby and Nate, yeah, no new case info although the reminder about Lori's varying stories about how Charles died was I felt good to recall, so much in this it gets easy to forget. Heart attack he was told at first.

I hope both of them keep their heads in their different ways. I mean Nate is getting pretty big time for instance and I'm happy for him, but I hope he stays true to what appealed about him in the first place. Jmo.

Anyhow, Lori is going to provide a sh*t show imo although the judge may not let that happen hopefully. Her filings and more and even the female prosecutor's responses are pretty interesting. I don't even know if I'll be able to see it in real time, the trial I mean, as jury selection may go on how long.

You know, I recall way back or one lesser known detail of talk her dad was pretty anti govt., court, taxes, etc. well that's pretty much what she is showing in her filings and so on. She supposedly has ALL of the discovery but it isn't good enough and she wants it from the source... Wants Charles phone, not just the State's extraction, etc. I think we all have a bit of that distrust in us but she is beyond imo. Then she is doing what she is to Nate, and doesn't like the female P at all, and is bringing up her supposed bf and the Arias case... Lol but not. I mean I'm not impressed with the system a lot of times, I've had a worthless if not sabotaging atty, I have some distrust, but there is so much evidence against Lori it isn't even funny right? And she's already convicted and sentenced to life. It's her big hurrah moment I guess and yes she's been misportrayed... OMG. I don't have words.

I'm the same way, can't always keep up for sure, but I highly recommend before things get hotter watching that one, if that's the one the other one is. Lol.

Oh Linda had a new one out too, but about why she left the scene for a bit. Not about the case.

A month or so ago I'd have said things were boring but now everything under the sun and ever trial is coming on, etc. at the same time. Imo. And more. JFK docs. Just everything lol. If I could keep up I couldn't if that makes any sense. Hardly been able to even type for days so been doing a lot of listening.

I've never had Justin pop up for me on YT. I'd probably watch him more if so. So he has a new show or is doing one on there now? I will go subscribe if so, and if I get to it. Both of them were phenomenal reporters, and still are, in these cases.
