LIBBY GERMAN & ABBY WILLIAMS: Indiana vs. Richard Allen for 2017 murder of two Delphi girls *GUILTY*

On February 14, 2017, the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German were discovered near the Monon High Bridge Trail, which is part of the Delphi Historic Trails in Delphi, Indiana, United States, after the young girls had disappeared from the same trail the previous day. The murders have received significant media coverage because a photo and audio recording of an individual believed to be the girls' murderer was found on German's smartphone. Despite the audio and video recordings of the suspect that have been circulated and the more than 26,000 tips that police have received, no arrest in the case has been made.[1][2][3]

Police have not publicly stated nor released details of how the girls were murdered.[6] As early as February 15, 2017, Indiana State Police began circulating a still image of an individual reportedly seen on the Monon High Bridge Trail near where the two friends were slain; the grainy photograph appearing to capture a Caucasian male, with hands in pockets, walking on the rail bridge, head down, toward the girls.[4] A few days later, the person in the photograph was named the prime suspect in the double-homicide.[5]

On February 22, law enforcement released an audio recording where the voice of the assailant,[7] though in some degree muffled, is heard to say, "Down the hill." It was at this news conference that officials credited the source of the audio and imagery to German's smartphone, and, further, regarded her as a hero for having had the uncanny foresight and fortitude to record the exchange in secret. Police indicated that additional evidence from the phone had been secured, but that they did not release it so as not to "compromise any future trial." By this time, the reward offered in the case was set at $41,000.[5]

This is a live chat and they are saying the jury vans left at 2 pm. You can keep listening on it. They will be back on Monday, even though it is Veterans Day apparently. So 14 hours deliberations so far.
Approx 2 hrs on Thurs
9-4 on Fri. 7 hrs
10-3 today. 5 hours watching videos.

That's all folks - till Monday.

I'm about positive the jury was comparing his voice and that's why they wanted to see both the interrogation video and the Libby video.

I take this as a GOOD and POSITIVE sign.

The thing is would the judge let the person running it go back and forth for them quickly? I STILL do not get why the State did not have a comparison tape made so the jury could listen to such. AND a voice analyst.

It took people like Tom and Lauren a bit but they finally knew they voice was RIcfhard Allen so it could take the jury a bit too. However, the comparison I heard back when one could tell IMMEDIATELY. The State really SHOULD have had one done.

Since it's been the RA show for years, thought I'd link this. She knew Libby well. I'd like to hear about the girls for once, so liked this. Sickening what happens in cases.

Haven't spent much time on here tonight but there was one more thing I wanted dot get back to say.

So it's been said they watched or looked at like five hours of evidence. Unsure on that, how soon did they get to it in the courtroom and had to wait for RA to get there, all to get there, etc. of the attys. No public of course.

I worked today but knew o fsome before I went.Over the day thought it was clear from more than one and even early in the day they wanted to see the interview of RA and Libby's video and it's remained that said all day.

For me that's the voice. Of course it could also be trying to compare what facial features can be seen, etc.

Now I am pretty sure am I wrong that had the jury wanted to deliberate longer today could have til 4 couldn't they or do I have that wrong...

Now if 15 of them were looking for a lot of things, questions, answers, pics of the trail on Libby's video, pics of him, answers in his interview, etc. or were debating a LOT of stuff, I'd think they'd have continued deliberating while watching all of this by 15 of them was fresh instead of heading out, having tomorrow off, and then coming back on Monday. Point is if it was something far more involved and lots of things they were looking for, imo they'd have continued while all were fresh on watching it...

I think it's the voice.

And again can they request parts of interview and Libby's video be isolated and played back and forth to hear the voice?

I shall NEVER stray from this, RA's voice IS BG, he IS BG.

If all they were looking to do was listen to the voice back and forth, then I get how they would not continue deliberating for the rest of the day. That's just ONE thing being looked at or they wanted to hear and all could go "home" (hotel) with their own conclusions to discuss whether there or on Monday. That's not a lot to be fresh on like if they were looking for ton soft things in these videos.

Not sure if I am putting it right...

I'm convinced we are going to have a verdict on Monday which was pretty much my original thought. If we don't have one, then we will see the first sign of most agree but maybe one can't and they willl be sent back.

Just predicting, Monday will give hints but I think there is going to be a verdict. They may have even left the courthhouse knowing today. They may have asked to hear these things already all in basic agreement but said let's all just go hear this one more time.

I am though still upset they did not give a side by side voice thing, the P, and unless there were things that went on we never heard that did not allow such, that is the ONE BIG THING imo they could have done and did not.

This obviously isn't an open and shut case for the jury.
Why so? They are doing as juries should do, not rushing, double checking and crossing the Ts and dotting the Is. It's very typical and average for time, etc. and they started towards the weekend and it is not even Monday yet. Some of course are slam dunk quicker because the evidence is just so overwhelming, etc. It's also years after. We are going to have a verdict Monday imo. What's your prediction? I'm not of course saying I know, just my guess.

The voice is dead on. You and I even have discussed many a voice over the last few years.

All that said, I am not going to say that I don't think the P for instance should not have done a voice analysis and side by side comparison.

I guess if you mean they did't come back in three to four hours as happens in cases that truly are slam dunk, aren't how many years passed, etc. then no, they are doing more the average thing of a couple of days, making sure they look at, double check, before delivering their verdict. Jmo.

Personally I think they were there Saturday which is not much time at all, and will again, deliver a verdict Monday.

Could be wrong.

I knew you would ask and i can't find it again. i even checked my history.
It doesn't matter, don't worry about it. I've always been able to see it, RA=BG, and the voice OMG clinched me some time back. If you did have, wouldn't have minded seeing but it not, no biggie.

I honestly think we are going to have a verdict Monday.

Could be wrong. Shall see. I think they may have even left having one or close.

If not, at that point then it would mean there is a problem or not total agreement although it could be just on the various charges.

Just total guessing of course, but when one strips away all of the blizzard effect here and looks at what is there, it's there. The jury wanted to see specific things. Now maybe some would say they want to see the interrogation for how contentious it was, but no, because they also wanted Libby's video. I think they are far more dialed down as to what they are looking at and for.

Jmo of course.

Have an early one today. Hours all OVER the place lately and schedule and will only worsen through the holidays.

I gotta tell ya, most who attended have a different look at this than many who could not see sh*t have, or who only followed trad media with not all detail, and so on. Intelligent jury, confessions and other things were big.

I thought it may have been in the video showing all the sidewalk signs so i quickly went thru that and couldn't find it there. Who knows where i saw it. 🤷‍♀️

Tomorrow will be interesting on verdict watch. I'm really curious as to where their heads are in the process. In case they can't decide here's rule 28.

RULE 28. ASSISTING JURORS AT AN IMPASSE

If the jury advises the court that it has reached an impasse in its deliberations, the court may, but only in the presence of counsel, and, in a criminal case the parties, inquire of the jurors to determine whether and how the court and counsel can assist them in their deliberative process. After receiving the jurors' response, if any, the court, after consultation with counsel, may direct that further proceedings occur as appropriate.

Allen, though inadvertantly, actually did identify himself as BG.
Re the image from Libby's phone, he said something along the line of if it was with the girl's camera, it wasn't me.
LMAO!
