LIBBY GERMAN & ABBY WILLIAMS: Indiana vs. Richard Allen for 2017 murder of two Delphi girls *TRIAL IN PROGRESS*

On February 14, 2017, the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German were discovered near the Monon High Bridge Trail, which is part of the Delphi Historic Trails in Delphi, Indiana, United States, after the young girls had disappeared from the same trail the previous day. The murders have received significant media coverage because a photo and audio recording of an individual believed to be the girls' murderer was found on German's smartphone. Despite the audio and video recordings of the suspect that have been circulated and the more than 26,000 tips that police have received, no arrest in the case has been made.[1][2][3]

Police have not publicly stated nor released details of how the girls were murdered.[6] As early as February 15, 2017, Indiana State Police began circulating a still image of an individual reportedly seen on the Monon High Bridge Trail near where the two friends were slain; the grainy photograph appearing to capture a Caucasian male, with hands in pockets, walking on the rail bridge, head down, toward the girls.[4] A few days later, the person in the photograph was named the prime suspect in the double-homicide.[5]

On February 22, law enforcement released an audio recording where the voice of the assailant,[7] though in some degree muffled, is heard to say, "Down the hill." It was at this news conference that officials credited the source of the audio and imagery to German's smartphone, and, further, regarded her as a hero for having had the uncanny foresight and fortitude to record the exchange in secret. Police indicated that additional evidence from the phone had been secured, but that they did not release it so as not to "compromise any future trial." By this time, the reward offered in the case was set at $41,000.[5]

Me too. I'd love to know what LE is holding back on both of them.
I hope one day we will. Kline and his dad are clearly part of something relating to minors AND he had contact with Libby in the right time frame AND had a plan to meet her. That just can't be ignored. At least I can't ignore it.

However, Ronald too lived right there, had access, property to use/run back to, had someone lie and that can't be ignored.

I have moments I even wonder if there may have been any connection between the one suspect and the other two although that is total speculation on my part... These girls were clearly, or at least one was, talking online and making plans, sharing to Snapchat, etc. What else were they up to or how naive were they out and about in their own home town and I don't mean that in ANY way to reflect badly on them. It is an age that one dares but still doesn't know the dangers, one has naivete but thinks they know it all, etc...

I wouldn't say they were sitting ducks but they may well have naively let the wrong person know their plans etc. by sharing online, etc. or just even amongst their friends or in this small town...

The main question I have is where did Kline plan to meet her?

That's another possibility.

That makes me wonder something. Can genetic testing use results from someone else? Meaning let's say LE had a DNA analysis run and they had the results. Let's say they don't have much if any DNA left but they have the test results. Can those results be used to determine genetic matches? I know it wouldn't maybe hold up in court or a defense may challenge they weren't able to test DNA themselves but I am just wondering if that could even be done...? Does anyone know?
That is how it is done on many cases. They have the results, but can't match them, then they submit the results into the GEDCOM database to look for similarities.

FOX 32. Interesting no doubt. Cops are searching a riverbed after all this time not far from where Kline lived.... And more... Fox even says Podcasters have a lot to do wth things.... For a news station to give credit to that....

Don't know if it just hype but it seems they are looking at Kline or at least combing the Wabash for a reason...

Can't confirm of course it is related to Delphi but....

They may be looking at Kline for other reasons.
They very well may be, not like these two girls are the only ones he likely talked to or tried to meet with/met with, etc. I do think searching a river bed is likely to be for a body or weapon though and is there anyone else named he is suspected of harming, killing or that is missing though? I can't recall but I thought everything they have him on is child porn and other related charges?

A suspect accused of possessing child pornography who is tied to the 2017 murders of two teenage girls in Delphi, Indiana, has been soliciting sexual favors from women who write him in prison, according to two podcast hosts.

“In addition to wanting money, women have been contacting him, and he is trying to exploit them sexually in order to give them information about the case,” podcast host and attorney Kevin Greenlee told Fox News Digital. “There was a particularly striking exchange where a … young woman was asking about the case and talking about church, and he responded very quickly by turning it into a sexual conversation.”

Greenlee and journalist Áine Cain who host “The Murder Sheet” podcast and have been following the Delphi murder case, were recently in contact with Kline via a messaging platform that Kline can use to communicate with others outside prison.

One woman who wrote to Kline told the podcast hosts that the suspect offered to give her information if she allowed him to masturbate in front of her via FaceTime. He also reportedly attempted to get the adult women who have contacted him in prison to perform sexual favors in exchange for information, which Greenlee noted in the latest episode of “The Murder Sheet” podcast is particularly disturbing given the crimes Kline is accused of.

In addition, Kline repeatedly told Cain and Greenlee that he would not divulge any information without payment, which the podcast hosts declined to do as journalists.

“Don’t message me again. You have put out so much bulls*t against me. I get you have a podcast and want money from this, but it’s wrong what you’re doing, Aine,” Kline said in one message to Cain that she and Greenlee discussed in their latest podcast episode.

“There is a lot of misinformation. People doing interviews that don’t even know me, Aine, and lying all about me. I’m very upset about it. I’m having a hard enough time,” another message from Kline read.

“How many questions are you wanting to ask? I’ll answer some, but not for free. Everyone is making money off my name, and I’m sitting in here hungry with nothing,” Kline said in another message, which does not support what sources have told the podcast hosts about Kline gaining a significant amount of weight in prison.

The podcast hosts have reported extensively on the Delphi murders and Kline, and they wanted to reach out to the suspect to give him a chance to share his side of the story. When Cain and Greenlee asked Kline what they got wrong in their reporting, he evaded the question and said he would only provide answers in exchange for $400.

He probably doesn't know anything and is just trying to get things. He has to know that nobody is allowed to give him sexual favors in jail. He's just messing with people's heads. That's how I see it.

What makes you think that? I am sitting here irate wondering what bleeding hearts run our systems and this jail/prison? Prisoners get to use a messaging platform and FACEtime??!!!! That's asinine and a perfectly stupid idea by some moron. If he asked to masturbate to her via Facetime I am guessing he thinks that can be done. I guess he could be doing it to shock them and get some thrill out of just if they agree but if they have messaging and Facetime then it maybe is possible.

Who on God's green earth thinks it wise to give at least sexual offender a messaging platform and Facetime? I truly wonder sometimes what hope fhere is for this country/world when it seems such idiots run it.

I can also tell you this, prisoners asking for money and sexual favors is common and especially by certain types obsessed with such things and food too. They all want commissary money and money to exchange for things from other prisoners, etc. And many want sexy pictures and I'm not sure if they are to masturbate to or to impress/gain status with other prisoners by showing them or both.

I once got to see a bunch of letters from someone in prison to women and these are things he did. In realizing that I came to find out how common it is. Many are cons and many have addictions and deviancies which sometimes are even what landed them there. I could go on forever but will just add this, one woman he knew sent him pictures like that and ha apparently had them in prison and I came to see them which just shows you they ended up out in the world too. for others to see.. Do you know how that happened? He was arrested again and the few possessions he had ended up with someone I knew who owned teh place he resided in when he was arrested.

So here we have a pedophile who was trying to be with children, a sex offender, and they let him make sexual requests of women and give him a messaging platform and Facetime?? I'm sure it is women because he knows children will get him in more trouble and that it is probably at risk of being monitored.

Still, whose bright idea was that? There are sexual offenders on restrictions released that they aren't allowed near a computer, etc.

He could weigh 800 pounds and he would claim to starve and ask for money. It is what they do. Money and things to trade or pay with are big. They all seem to do it, it is the prison way I think... They just keep the money until needed and get it from more than one if they can find a sucker or two.

In the case I was talking about I think each woman thought she was the only one who he asked and he had almost form letters to many and they wrote back and some he knew pre-prison and some he tried like his kindergarten teacher or anyone he could think of that might give in, he didn't care who he asked for money. And strangers. They also do it to try to raise bail money in some cases where bail is set low.

I don't think we need to comment on how many dumb people there are that write prisoners. Now in some cases here maybe they hope to get info from him on the girls is their reason but he isn't going to give that up... He isn't stupid unfortunately I don't think. He is aware enough to do the sexual thing with women rather than children I'm sure because he figures he may be monitored...

it probably isn't even illegal or against rules I suppose and a judge wont' restrict his access or can't most likely???? He isn't offering to pay them for sexual favors although he does offer exchange of info for them.

Prisoners should be treated humanely but they shouldn't have perks imo and especially not internet, etc., cell phones, TVs where they can access what they like and so on. Un-flipping-believable. And yet it's not because this idiocy has become commonplace, we hear of things every day that the public does NOT agree with, light sentences, early release, perks, etc.

Just watch in short order he will be asking some woman about her young daughter... Carefully of course probably, just skating near thin ice...

I'm guessing everything is being monitored, and they're hoping he slips up and gives out some information. Also, they may be coming up against a time they'll have to release him, and they are hoping he'll do something they can charge him with to keep him in longer. Just a guess.

I agree with that and figure he is being monitored as well but I also think he knows full well they will do that. He is playing cat and mouse at best and he knows the podcasters are hoping the same thing and possibly the others writing him are as well. At least I hope that's their reason and not a true interest in him.

Even so though I don't believe they should have access to these things. He was attempting meetings with children via computer/phone/internet and they give him (or any of them) access to such??

These guys who think they are smarter than everyone else usually make a serious mistake.

Delphi Murders latest: State police say ‘nothing imminent’

Despite the circulation of rumors online, Indiana State Police have not confirmed any arrests in relation to the Delphi murders and say there is “nothing imminent”.

Users on Reddit, Facebook and other social media sites have posted speculative information over the past week in relation to the investigation of the murders of the two girls.

Some have claimed that arrests have been made or previously unreported evidence has been found, but ISP Superintendent Doug Carter said Saturday that there is “nothing imminent” and that some of the rumors swirling online are “nonsense”.

On Saturday, ISP Lafayette provided the following statement:
“There has not been an arrest made in the Delphi investigation. The speculations are false.”
