I didn't know you were in st. Louis. I have family there in Wildwood.
My bestie is close to Wildwood. She's in Defiance. Small world, lol! I lived in the City of St. Louis for 17 years & gave up due the crime & gun violence. We moved to Oakville almost 4 years ago & it's been wonderful.

"I absolutely acknowledge that it hasn't been done before, though I didn't know that at the time, and ... it wouldn't have altered my decision," she said. "I did receive pushback, but prosecutors don't like to do things for the first time, and they also don't like to do things that might result in a 'not guilty.'

"But I wasn't elected to do the safe thing, and this is just far beyond politics. To me, this was the right thing to do. I don't think anyone looking at it, particularly what we know now — only some of which is public — could have decided to just allow those two individuals to move forward in their life and never have any consequences."

Michigan High School Shooting Suspect Ethan Crumbley Kept Baby Bird Head in a Jar: Court Filing

Prosecutors reportedly alleged that Ethan Crumbley had been sending his mother texts demonstrating a disturbed state of mind for months before the shooting. They also alleged that the teen had tortured animals and kept “baby bird’s head in a jar on his bedroom floor.”

I wonder why the parents of student shooters have never been held accountable. This case has delved quite deeply into culpability and accountability and I look forward to hearing (watching) the parents in their trial.

Ethan Crumbley's attorney says guilty plea possible in Oxford High School shooting case

Ethan Crumbley, the 15-year-old charged with shooting and killing four students at Oxford High School and injuring seven others, could enter a guilty plea, according to his attorney who spoke with FOX 2's Charlie Langton on WWJ Friday morning.

Langton, who reports for both FOX 2 and WWJ, spoke with Crumbley's attorney Paulette Michel Loftin just moments after Crumbley waived his preliminary hearing in the Oxford High School shooting. She said that there is a possibility that Crumbley could enter a guilty plea in the mass shooting but that is dependent on conversations with the Oakland County Prosecutor.

"I do think there's a possibility (of a plea). It is too early. We haven't reviewed all of the discovery yet; there is still some forthcoming. I think it's too early to jump to that phase, but that is a definite possibility." Loftin said that there have not been any discussions regarding anything less serious than first degree murder.

Loftin said that a hearing regarding Crumbley's competency is not being considered at this point.

"I've talked with him about ten times now (and) never had a situation where I felt that he wasn't understanding me. The guardian is of the same opinion. Competency is not an issue, at this very second. Obviously we may address that in the future or may address criminal responsibility, which is another aspect of competency," Loftin said.
