Why would she need to carry her car keys on a bike ride from her home? Bikers and runners carry as light as possible. Everything chafes at the very least. And that still doesn't explain how this person would even know where she lived, especially after supposedly dumping her helmet and water bottle a mile from where her bike was found?
She would apparently put her bike and gear in her car and drive to a bike trail then go on a bike ride. So she would lock her car before heading off on her bike trail ride and would therefore need to take her car keys with her. I thought this had been mentioned before because I am sure I read this on this thread already.

But he car was at home and her bike was found near.

They could have ambushed her near to her car at a trail head and got her to do whatever they wanted. Eg drive her to her house, rob her, kidnap her whatever.

Who is claiming the match is on the bike and helmet too? I haven't seen that.
You. Your very post 975 with this in the link and your question, too. Then we have it again with another link in post 868.

Colorado Bureau of Investigation forensic analysis determined that an unknown male DNA on the bike helmet, bike, Suzanne’s car’s glovebox and the backseat of the car did not belong to Barry. That DNA was later determined to partially match DNA found in three out-of-state unsolved sexual assault investigations"

I really don't believe that would happen. That's very unlikely. Why would this person take her home, get in her garage and only touch the glove box and nothing else?

That's not me saying that - I have copied that from a source. So - unknown male DNA is in four locations. The partial match refers to the glovebox DNA. They got no match from the other three locations. Therefore, unknown male DNA on the bike, helmet and back seat of car could mean two or more assailants IMO.

Well, Tresir answered that.

Today car keys are merely a very small barrel shaped object that allows you to start the car and get into it as long as it's with you. So, if she did drive the car, with her bike, to where she wanted to go biking, it's no mystery at all to me.

Why didn't they take anything if the mission was to rob her? Why only on the glove box?

He could have used a gun and sat on the passenger seat to tell her where to go. There are a lot of questions on both sides that are very difficult to answer.

But how did this person get into her vehicle and only leave DNA on her glove box? How did they get in the garage without leaving acting on the opener? How did they get in her vehicle without leaving any other than on it?

How do we know they didn't rob her? Was she wearing jewellery, a wedding ring for example. Did she leave cash in the glovebox? If she didn't use her car that day, why did LE forensically check it out?

LE are the ones to answer all this. We can only speculate. Maybe he had gloves on but sneezed on the glove box, left hair, spit whatever.
