A Chaffee County woman is missing after a neighbor said she went out for a bike ride Sunday and never returned, sparking a search involving more than 100 emergency personnel.

The Chaffee County Communications Center received a report on Sunday at 5:46 p.m. regarding a missing woman in the area of County Road 225 and West Highway 50.


Anybody who has information on Morphew’s whereabouts is asked to call the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office at 719-539-2596 or Chaffee County Crime Stoppers at 719-539-2599.

SUZANNE MORPHEW is still #missing from Mayesville, CO. Her husband was arrested in 2021 for her murder!

I am not saying anything now but just posted an article. It's not me saying that but the article writer. If you notice, nearly all the articles still say Suzanne went missing on a bike ride on Mother's Day too so it's seems to be the only narrative out there. This article was dated 28th September.

In fact, I am not saying anything else but will just post articles until they charge someone again with her murder. That article seems to indicate it will not even be the same district prosecuting the case as the body was found in a different county.

That is not exactly what that article says. It says a neighbor called to say her neighbor went on a bike ride and never returned. That is just explaining how the story started, which is correct. Nowhere does it say that's what actually happened, just what the neighbor told them on the 911 call.

Wrong. If you had ANY help in doing the gutting/reno, those people's dna would be present. Nearly every single thing in your house you have purchased has possible dna from manufacturing itself. Then if you bought it retail, there is no telling how many people's dna is on it. Your mail would have other's dna on it.. Nearly every single thing you bring into your house has possible dna on it.

And that's where I find the more recent thing of touch DNA not to necessarily be a good thing or very accurate. There is probably still a book from my kindergarten that has the DNA of thousands of students on it.

It would help to know what they have. If it is touch, did they find a print? If not, why not? Still a moot point in my opinion because per Barry she was on her bike not in her vehicle. And because it isn't that of a rapist. And because who knows how long it had been there. And because if there is only this and that of NO ONE ELSE, well that really makes no sense now does it...

The reasons are endless.

Well she meant to ride to Moffat so when she fell off her bike, she took off walking. Everyone I have ever listened to who has been to the spot the bike was found and knows how it was found says NO WAY. LE. Former LE. Her brother. Tons of others.

Yeah, didn't read it as you may have guessed. I was responding to the fact Tresir said all or most media still use it as if it is fact.

Doesn't matter though because a mountain lion chased her off the road and picked her up and dragged her to Moffat. Or no, the abductor chased her off the road and then they fought over her.

Sad. There is a woman here who was killed by her husband imo and then he tells these outrageous stories about what happened to her.

She is Suzanne Moorman to me quite honestly. I don't like the Morphews. Just like Lori Vallow is Lori Daybell to me. She doesn't deserve to use Charles' name especially in her notoriety yet that's what is done. Of course she'd prefer to be called Daybell so maybe I should rethink that...

We gutted the house, new walls, ceilings, cement floors, electrics, plumbing. We then did all the floors and decorating ourselves (underfloor electric heating, sanding and treating and varnishing upstairs floorboards, complete redecorating, walls, ceilings, doors etc.) My mail gets burnt after reading. I keep bank statements and invoices that's all. I was addressing Gbear comments re previous tenants/occupants/visitors, not DNA since our occupation.

As explained I was addressing prior tenants/occupants/visitors to our purchase and explaining that, not addressing DNA from OUR occupation.

You specifically mentioned that article as statting that. That is why. It doesn't. Most don't. Most i have read state it as that is what started the investigation is the call to 911 and that is what they were told.

Or when he was at home that he lied about being home and told LE he was out of town. the last known sign of life of her. You know, when he then said he was chasing squirrels after he was told his phone gps was pinging all over the place.

reminder... note highlighted part. When did she take the supposed bike ride? There was no sign of life of her after Barry returned home while she was sending a pic to the boyfriend. I don't think I need to read between the lines to guess what happened after that.
