Aside from the many victims, the testimony thus far has set a great foundation. The defense couldn't discredit Juan Alessi. He placed the defendant in the Palm Beach residence with these minor girls.

There are still 3 more victims from the indictment that have yet to testify. And as defense attorneys do, they'll try to discredit each one which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

My question is how the number of young girls from different regions, states, cities, background etc. can be dismissed as coincidence when each story told places the defendant in the exact crimes she's being accused of in the indictment? IMOO, Ghislaine Maxwell is guilty of the crimes she's charged with. Does anyone else see this differently?

I don't see it any differently. There is corroboration, patterns with grooming, type of victims and far more. In my opinion the case is strong. Jmo though.
 
It seems that the testimony of Jane is going to be challenged on a couple of points and corroborating witnesses will be called by the defence. If some of her testimony is discounted then I am not sure what happens. We still have the testimony of two victims to come, one is Annie Farmer, who is not claiming anonymity, and I believe the 4th victim is not a minor.

Next witness is coorborating the testimony previously heard by the court that Ghislaine Maxwell was an active participant.

The person who is taking Prince Andrew to court in a civil suit. She is not appearing as a witness in this case AFAIK. Oh and she had a defamation suit against Maxwell which they settled out of court, I believe. I believe the two perjury charges, which are deferred till after this case, are connected to that case. Others will correct if I have interpreted that wrong. :thinking:

Paraphrasing the tweets. So Shawn introduces Carolyn to Virginia at what he believes is age 17. Virginia takes her to Epstein and Maxwell where the 4 of them all participate while Virginia has sex with Epstein. Carolyn is actually only 14 however but is already using drugs and performing as a stripper ( she doesn't say where ), acting as an escort and sometimes having sex for money. She keeps her bra and underwear on during this initial encounter during which Maxwell touches her breasts. She is paid $300.

After this she visits again more than 100 times between ages of 14 and 18, twice or three times a week sometimes. She spends the money on drugs. She brings three others with her. (Roberts is 18 at this time, Carolyn testifies, so this must be after August 2001).

So Epstein, Maxwell and Roberts are all adults when this first encounter takes place with Carolyn being the only minor. Does this mean that Roberts groomed/trafficked Carolyn to Epstein and Maxwell?

Multiple times during her testimony, Carolyn described Maxwell disrobing in front of her. The witness said that she asked—and was allowed to—leave on her bra and underwear. She testified that one massage session lasted 45 minutes before Epstein turned over and had sex with Virginia.
 
I just want to preface this by stating how confusing the excerpt bolded below is. Unless I've missed a lot of testimony, there are still 3 victims that were to testify including Annie Farmer.

Proceedings are moving faster than expected, with prosecutors previously saying it would take three weeks to present their case, not two. The trial was anticipated to last six weeks total.
 
I think perhaps 3 have already testified, Jane, Kate and Carolyn and maybe Annie Farmer is the final 4th witness.

This DM article from before the trial does indicate that now only Annie Farmer is left to testify. She was 16 when the incident happened in New Mexico. Age of consent may come into play.

Victim 2 Kate, was not a victim as over the age of consent in the jurisdiction (UK)

Victim 3 Carolyn was brought to Palm Beach residence by Roberts and Shawn.

Victim 4 Annie Farmer, age 16 in New Mexico, still to testify.

Personally, so far I have not seen any trafficking by Maxwell.

If Maxwell gets off these charges, will she still be kept in jail for the perjury charges? Or will she then be able to get bail ?

Trial is 45 mins late getting started today due to one of the jurors MTA train being late. Cannot believe the jurors are having to ride on public transport for this big federal case. Shouldn't they have protection?

Anyway Shawn, Carolyn's BF is testifying ATM and says he has 3 girlfriends. Just click on the tweet address in the previous post if any one wants to follow along. I won't copy pasta today as not many seem to be following on here.

I agree with that. Since there is likely little direct evidence, I think it will come down very much to who they believe more/which side they believe. And corroboration of things the victims say.
