Got my Masters degree from here. :(

Killer who stabbed 4 Idaho students to death still at large

The killer — or killers — who stabbed four University of Idaho students to death remained at large Tuesday, prompting many students to leave the campus in the idyllic small town despite police assurances that there was no imminent risk to the community.

So many students had left the scenic tree-lined campus in Moscow, Idaho, by Tuesday that university officials said a candlelight vigil scheduled for the next day would instead be held after the Thanksgiving break.

The students, all close friends, were found dead in an off-campus rental home around noon on Sunday, and officials said they likely were killed several hours earlier. Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt told the Spokane, Washington-based television station KXLY that her preliminary investigation showed the students were stabbed to death. There is no indication that substance use was involved in the deaths, Mabbutt said.

The buccal swabs being listed with his personal property seems odd. I've never seen that before. It kind of leads someone to believe they were his property he had on his person. But yes, Common sense says the

This is only a theory of mine. Could he have thought about trying to leave someone else's DNA at a scene?

y are FOR him. But stranger things have happened. Everything that can be picked apart will. It's nauseatingly annoying. This case goes deeper than we know IMO. I don't mean conspiracies down to "Captain Caveman". But things are not linking because the holders of the links are not giving them up. I do believe the full truth will come out. I just have the feeling it won't be right away. This is so sad. Senseless, So many lives taken. For what?. Most the time I don't care what the motive is. I can figure it out. Or they give their motive. It's the ones where there seems to be no motive at all.

More search warrants documents have been released:

A gun, multiple knives, black face masks and gloves were among the dozens of chilling items that were seized from the Pennsylvania family home of Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger, search warrants unsealed Wednesday revealed.

Kohberger’s possessions were carted away by cops from his parents’ residence on Lamsden Drive in Albrightsville on Dec. 30, the day of his arrest for the cold-blooded killings of four University of Idaho students.

The new search warrant made public Wednesday and obtained by The Post shows that law enforcement officials took away from the home a Glock 22 .40-caliber handgun and empty magazines, a Smith & Wesson pocketknife, and a third Taylor Cutlery knife in a leather sheath.

It was previously revealed that cops were searching for a “Rambo”-style knife — such as a KA-BAR brand combat blade — in the slayings.

It is unclear if either of the knives recovered were used in the heinous crime.

Cops also collected black face masks and gloves from the home, multiple laptops and other electronic devices, including Kohberger’s cellphone, as well as books, numerous dark-colored clothing items and shoes.

I saw this earlier. Just more damning circumstantial evidence. Even if there is no smoking gun evidence. IMO They would have more than enough to convict. There's been convictions with less. And not questionably found guilty. That has happened too many times.

The court-appointed public defender for Bryan Kohberger asserted she does not have a conflict of interest representing the University of Idaho homicide suspect after previously acting as attorney for a parent to one of the four stabbing victims, according to a newly unsealed legal filing.

Anne Taylor, chief of the Kootenai County Public Defender’s Office since 2017, told Latah County Court Judge Megan Marshall in a closed-door hearing Jan. 27 that she never met or provided any legal advice to her former client of about three months, the court record showed. Taylor also said she talked with Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson and Ashley Jennings, the office’s senior deputy prosecutor, about the details of the situation.

Marshall directly asked Kohberger if he wished to continue with Taylor as his defense attorney, according to the court record, which included minutes from the hearing.

“Given the information he has heard and the conversations he has had with Ms. Taylor,” read Kohberger’s response, “he feels comfortable proceeding with her as his counsel.”

As long as he's comfortable. That's what matters. Coddling the defendants is so sickening. It goes on constantly now.

I saw the interview where Xana’s mom was saying she was upset her attorney is representing BK now, yet there’s no evidence they’ve ever met. This just solidifies my opinion that media needs to leave Xana’s mother alone. She needs to be given time to deal with her own personal struggles.

Records obtained by RadarOnline.com show that Northington was arrested on February 24 after spending three weeks in Spokane, Washington, “strung out” on fentanyl and methamphetamines.
During an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, Northington revealed her current jail stint is a “nightmare” both because of the withdrawal she is suffering as well as the grief and heartbreak over the loss of her 20-year-old daughter.

In her case, jail might be a good place for her. Hopefully she'll use the time sober and come out ready to fight for herself. She seems too much of a danger to herself right now. Definitely not judging her, I totally get it and what she must be going through inside, just an observation. Her daughter would be so proud of her if she learned to fight for herself.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I wish they would just leave her alone! I saw documents that she was in jail when Xana was killed. She has a really difficult addiction problem and she doesn't need to be exploited and used by the media for a story!
