Got my Masters degree from here. :(

Killer who stabbed 4 Idaho students to death still at large

The killer — or killers — who stabbed four University of Idaho students to death remained at large Tuesday, prompting many students to leave the campus in the idyllic small town despite police assurances that there was no imminent risk to the community.

So many students had left the scenic tree-lined campus in Moscow, Idaho, by Tuesday that university officials said a candlelight vigil scheduled for the next day would instead be held after the Thanksgiving break.

The students, all close friends, were found dead in an off-campus rental home around noon on Sunday, and officials said they likely were killed several hours earlier. Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt told the Spokane, Washington-based television station KXLY that her preliminary investigation showed the students were stabbed to death. There is no indication that substance use was involved in the deaths, Mabbutt said.

Lol!
Yeah, that makes the most sense to me. Now, as for the rest of that line, my interpretation of it is that there was a glove in a box and that the ID was in the glove. Is that how you interpret that?
it looks like "inside glove inside box" however some news has taken it to mean inside glove compartment box and that the ID was in the car in the glove box.

There is a separate document for the property seized from the car. Everything on this document was taken from the house.

Here is the car document:

It does say gloves although doesn't refer to anything in one of them.

Yeah, News Nation said the ID was found in one of the searches of one of his residences. However, in the same video I believe one of them then said that it was found in the glove compartment if I recall correctly, contradicting themselves.

Swabs seem a bit odd here, the baggies perhaps and am wondering at the reflective vest. I guess the vest could be for safety if broken down on the side of the road... First thing that comes to mind is one of those that workers wear for safety but nowadays many others do wear such. Swabs...?

Yeah, well, I'm most confused as to how a question of whether it's ID or 10 turns into 10 ID's, you know? I mean it can't be both.
Honestly imo it is what News Nation often does... Or does quite a bit. They fuzz it up and probably think they can always say they had a basis or got it confused... Also there is usually a panel of a few people, one says it one way, later the other said the other thing and yeah, it is 10 IDs and with this that led to more killed maybe or stalking victims or plans and of course that hints serial killer, etc. Same show turned it from residence to glove compartment...

TikToker Who Falsely Accused Idaho Professor Of Being Responsible For Quadruple Murder Countersues, Says Her Reputation Was Ruined

The TikToker who accused a University of Idaho professor of playing a role in the quadruple murder denied she defamed the teacher with her claims — and then countersued for damages to her reputation, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, TikToker Ashley Guillard has fought back against the lawsuit filed by Professor Rebecca Scofield.

Scofield sued Guillard for defamation over allegations she made on the social media platform.

Guillard did not back down after the lawsuit was filed. She told her followers, “I am not stopping” and questioned why Scofield needed a lawyer to fight the lawyer “if she’s so innocent.”

Now, Guillard has not only responded to the lawsuit but filed a countersuit against Scofield.

She denied all allegations of wrongdoing. The TikToker wrote, “The 4 University of Idaho students were brutally murdered. Without the arrest of the murderers there’s a presumption of danger to the public, University of Idaho constituents and Idaho residents, Discovering and revealing the murderers with the intent to get them investigated and arrested is an act to warn others about harm or danger.”

She said, “The statements were made in the public interest of the public.” The TikToker said her statements about the professor were not made with malice and are protected by the first amendment.

Her countersuit took issue with statements the professor made about her publicly. She said Scofield and her lawyer executed a strategy to “discredit, embarrass, and humiliate her. She said the statement that she used the community’s pain for her online self-promotion.

The case is ongoing.

I don’t understand why the roommate is fighting a subpoena. It’s pretty obvious that she’s going to need to testify in court. If she’s fighting this subpoena does that mean she’s going to be a hostile witness?

I've read some various opinions and tend to agree with this:

This has got to be for the preliminary hearing. There should be adequate evidence to bind him over for trial without her testimony. Of course, she will have to testify in the trial as she was in the house.

If they are the plaintiff, aren’t they the ones that would have filed the subpoena?
Either side can issues subpoenas in a case but it is likely the state and likely for the preliminary but you can subpoena for things like depositions and such too but preliminary is the most likely and by the State most likely.

Why is she fighting it. I don't like it. You know, we still do not know that BK didn't know or having anything to do with one or more people in this home. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, hard to say.

I can't remember if much is said about her in the PCA or her account of anything? DM, the other roommate is in it plenty. Why would they need this girl and this early on?

More so though why is she fighting it and why does she have an attorney? I find it a bit strange honestly.

Does anyone know what reason and argument it would take for her to get it quashed? I don't but I don't think it is granted too often.
