Killer who stabbed 4 Idaho students to death still at large​

The killer — or killers — who stabbed four University of Idaho students to death remained at large Tuesday, prompting many students to leave the campus in the idyllic small town despite police assurances that there was no imminent risk to the community.

So many students had left the scenic tree-lined campus in Moscow, Idaho, by Tuesday that university officials said a candlelight vigil scheduled for the next day would instead be held after the Thanksgiving break.

The students, all close friends, were found dead in an off-campus rental home around noon on Sunday, and officials said they likely were killed several hours earlier. Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt told the Spokane, Washington-based television station KXLY that her preliminary investigation showed the students were stabbed to death. There is no indication that substance use was involved in the deaths, Mabbutt said.

I do not do psychics but there is one who is hard to ignore as she NAILED the Daybell case and so I will and do watch her things which aren't frequent either. She did a video on this case.

For anyone interested, it was interesting and will be to see if anything she says pans out.

The perp was not any of the ones in the case we know about as far as I could tell. And the connection was Maddie. She said the person works near where she works at it seems like a cafe or bakery his parents own. Talks of him eating an apple at the scene. Talks of a bench and tree. More.

Again, this isn't something I'd normally say take a listen to but she was dead on with JJ and Tylee in how they died and where they were, etc. and details. BEFORE they were found and not generic details as is the "trick" of many psychics.

If nothing else, it will be interesting to see who the perp is and compare it to what she has said. It would explain the fact they aren't quite there yet with an arrest if it isn't one of the ones most, including myself, are thinking of from that night who may be the perp...

Again, psychics aren't something I follow much and there are imo a lot out there who are bogus and just playing that they are a "real" one BUT I don't discount that there may be legit ones or that it may be a real thing with SOME. Not pushing it but this was interesting AND this one HAS a major win with the Daybell case which has many doubters even who don't discount her. So decide for yourself if you'd like to listen to it/see if her take on it pans out.

I was reading that a little bit yesterday in my downtime. Just be careful, there’s a lot of speculation that are turning into rumor.
 
Dispatch spoke to multiple people during 911 call. "Some" had defensive wounds. Lists those who are not suspects. (We've discussed this). LE continues requesting tips. Areas they are interested in are shown on maps on their website. No stalker has been collaborated. Stick looking for fixed blade knife. 911 call hasn't been released.

Victims were not tied and gagged. (He goes over numbers of investigators on the case. Too numerous for me to list).
 
Col. from Idaho State Police now speaks:

Leads from community are important. No tip is too small. State Police and FBI continue to provide assistance.

Advanced investigative techniques are being used. Scene is being/been processed for evidence to help find them find out what happened. Evidence analyzed at the lab. LE said they need to do this to get this right. Testing for blood, prints, anything they can find. (He then goes over the numbers of evidence being processed in this case. Too many for me to list).

Asking the public to remain patience and rely on official sources of information. Thanks the media for their assistance.

In regular contact with Gov. Little and governor is releasing funds to help with expenses.
 
University of Idaho president:

Scott Green: Appreciates kind words and donations. Communications go out for safety measures and candlelight vigil on the 30th. All communications can be found on their website.

We will keep all family and friends in their thoughts and prayers.
 
Tyler Palmer from City of Moscow:

The mayor and city council instructed all resources to be given to police to work this case. He then thanks everyone for all the outpouring from the public. Moscow is his home (he breaks up here) and they will not be defined by what has happened here.
 
Opens up for questions (I'm noting answers):

Police presence will be very heavy after holiday break. 911 phone call will not be released at this time.

Interviews states Kaylee mentioned a stalker, but police haven't been able to collaborate it, but aren't dismissing it.

The integrity of the investigation is why they won't get specific as to who may have been targeted. They are not going to release why they think it was targeted.

As time goes on they process evidence and check out the tips. Time can be beneficial.

Whether the killer visited the first floor or not will not be released at this time.

Not a murder-suicide. Vehicles going in and out of the area are cleared once they've looked at everything they think they can find.

They will continue to work on this case through the holiday. Their people are dedicated.

They are (University) absolutely dedicated to keep students safe.

Other agencies do reach out to them with similar crimes and they look at every tip.
