At another site I post on, has nothing to do with crime, this subject came up and is drawing interest from people I've never seen interested in crime before. So, take this for what it's worth. One guy came across this post, he didn't say from where, but interesting if true:

Ok. I found an instagram account following Kaylee and Maddie and Xana. Won’t identify who but I thought the account was VERY suspicious. It’s a guy following 6k+ young university and sorority girls. He only has 112 followers and almost zero likes on his photos. He said his old account was hacked on his insta bio and has 2 other accounts. Another one is him following 1,800+ university and sorority girl accounts. He also follows the Boise police dept for some reason… the University of Idaho, Idaho fraternity council, and Gamma Phi Beta on insta.
His stories and posts are alarming and point to him being emotionally unstable and a loner. He is following gun and weapons accounts and creepy horror and bloody/murder accounts. He made a post about girls being whores… scary.
I noticed he used his other two accounts to like his own posts… strange. He was liking comments on Kaylee’s posts and ones between her and Maddie. Specifically on Kaylee’s post from the night before the murders when apparently they had a house party? One Kaylee’s friend’s said “I would die for you” and Kaylee responds “ I would literally do the same for you”…. I checked the girls instagram accounts and they are NOT following him on any of his 3 accounts. I took screenshots of his likes and the comments and I went back later and realized he removed his likes.
He also posted a story of the girls death with multiple photos etc and said “who would do something so evil”… I also researched him further and found out he lives in Vancouver, WA and works at a waste management placement near a river near Marion County only an hour from where the stabbing murders happened last year. I mapped his home to Kaylee and Maddie’s address and it’s a 5 hour and 40 min drive. He could easily drive there for the weekend kill them and drive home and dispose of his weapon either at work or in the river near his work. I mean him working in waste management… he probably has the type of gear like gloves and maybe a zip up outfit or something to make a clean exit? Idk all just random stuff I’m thinking but like this is too weird.
This is also a strange coincidence and I know the hoodie guy from the food truck was apparently already questioned but I need to add this. I also found a photo of him and what I believe is his brother and they not only look like the two guys from the food truck video but are wearing similar clothes and he also took a picture of a pair of his “new Nikes” on one account (they aren’t similar to the video ones they are red but still…. He likes a similar style nike shoe so he could own the ones in the video maybe 路*
). This is all just something I’ve been looking into on my own but it’s way too weird.
I also saw a local of Moscow said on another Reddit post that the weekend of the murders there was an influx of people from out of town for some event going on where they were redirecting people from nearby Washington State Uni to Moscow. Can’t find the post now but maybe someone can help clarify.
OK UPDATE. I googled his name again and found 6 separate accounts and one where he is following 9 KNIFE accounts!

I sent an extensive email with all of my research to the FBI in Salt Lake City.
Another update - This guy has been deleting all traces of this info because someone told me he’s become aware of the police presence outside his home in relation to this case BUT I have screenshots and screen recordings of it all as a backup.
Someone also told me he is monitoring this thread!
