Authorities search for Missouri doctor who has been missing more than a week​

Authorities in a small Missouri town are searching for an emergency room physician a week-and-a-half after his mysterious disappearance.

Dr. John Forsyth, 49, was last heard from May 21. Police said he was reported missing when he failed to show up for work that day at Mercy Hospital in Cassville, a town of 3,100 residents deep in the Missouri Ozarks.

Forsyth’s black Infiniti was found in a remote area near an aquatic park in Cassville. The car was unlocked with his wallet, two phones and a laptop inside.

Several law enforcement agencies, including the Missouri State Highway Patrol, have joined in the search using people, dogs and drones. Forsyth’s family set up a Facebook page seeking information.

Richard Forsyth said his brother had been at the Cassville hospital for about 15 years. He described John Forsyth as a doting father who became engaged to his girlfriend just a couple of days before he disappeared.

Yet doesn't LE per what Guessy posted claim there ISN'T one? NO video. Or is there one and grainy, etc. I thought it said they said there isn't one at all.

So you haven't seen it when you responded on what it showed or did not show?
 
I don't know how anyone can't keep coming back to Richard. When I try to get away from that thought all known and new known always comes right back to him...

Yeah, that makes sense to me now. I think what threw me was that John wasn't an unknown in that town, you know, that he was well known by a lot of people having worked at the hospital for so long.

Which also means it could have been anybody, including the brother, dressed in similar clothing, right? The point is that it is not confirmed as him on the video like the brother eludes to.

He hadn't worked that long at Cassville. The worked 20 years in Aurora.

What they mean is they don't know his life dynamics, baby mama dynamics, family dynamics, etc. and his personal life. Working at the hospital doesn't make him well know to that town. I couldn't tell ya who works at our hospital and they may think it related to his personal life or family...

I think all that matters is that Richard considered it luxury, not whether we do or don't.

But that doesn't negate that a 250k class A is basically entry level for a new class A. You would be hard pressed to find a cheaper, new one. Super easy to find double and up.

To my knowledge, all of what Richard has revealed about the video is what he's learned from LE.

And he worked in the emergency room, not like he worked with regular patients.

I think he thinks it's indeed John- although, I actually don't know- but even if he didn't, I do.
And I know I'm presuming but I think reasonably so.

Yeah like I said not going to sidetrack down that road as I don't think it matters and I don't have time. I will say what you provided had luxury or luxurious in the description. All it means is some people's idea of rich is different than others in the realm of this case. I think it would be a needless sidetrack to go down that road but I do think his finances overall matter, what his cost of living was or would be including baby support, etc. That is where it matters.

I can get by as you can likely in my life on little compared to some but my monthly income some people couldn't get by for a single day on.

Are there much more luxurious motorhomes? Sure. I wouldn't doubt it of course. Like matching top boat to top yacht. However for this area I am going to guess this is money right to most people?

Again I don't want to go down the rabbit hole of if it is money or not or luxury or not that will tell us nothing imo. His finances, expenses, way of life, debt, etc. though likely would clear some things up or hint in a direction or not. This man was facing some SERIOUS child support at minimum. And more.

Yeah, hospitals aren't everyone's world and we are lucky if they are not. I couldn't tell ya even when living in my HOMETOWN for decades who worked in the emergency room of ours. Not like we rubbed elbows. And he wasn't even from there right...?

He either wants so hard to believe it's him or he wants everybody else to believe it's him he sees on it. I'm not set in either way but it's most likely one of those things.
