JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

1580704661510.png

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Now she can gather her 144,000 people from behind BARS! (BTW, portals don't work in prison!)
It's a good thing portals don't work in prison or Toad and Lolo would be running a Rent-A-Portal business and all prisoners would escape. On the same order as Rent-A-Potty or whatever it's called, their potties are dual purposed...

no... it isn't not set..... I wonder if he actually going to do a plea deal after the outcome today...... or hopefully plea guilty.....
Part of me thinks there NEED to be trials for these two just to SHOW all they did but I guess we all know anyhow... They wanted them and Chad like Lori should now have to sit there while the MOUNTAIN of their despicable and evil acts and behavior come in while even HIS children try to close their ears and eyes...

IF they make any offer, it should only be to take the DP off the table in exchange for at minimum THREE life sentences. I don't know that I think one should even be offered. And I'm not sure he'd take it anyhow. There is great satisfaction in, when these losers push all the way to trial but have no defense as their actions didn't leave one, hearing all the facts against them and then having a FULL jury come back confirming they are guilty. Didn't it feel good here that NO DOUBT existed in a single jurors mind holding them from voting guilty?

If he doesn't plea he could get the death penalty. It doesn't look good now at all.
I'm not sure thought they can't make some argument, not sure how it would all go or if it would work, that since his co-conspirator had the DP taken off the table, it isn't fair that he still faces one... I man if they want, Prior could probably hold up this case or try to with motions for a long time... And since Boyce takes three hearings to even get to a decision on a motion and each hearing is a hearint to schedule a hearing to hear that and then for the decision, that's as year on each one it would take anyhow. Half kidding but not....

So people in the closet can jump around? Tom C. and John T. must love that!!

Well, there was no victim to attack. Tylee and JJ are right out, as far as disputing their character. There doesn't appear to be any attempt to smear Tammy's life, either. All three victims are off limits in this trial. So he's only being nice because he's backed into a corner. If he attacked the victims' character, it would've looked REALLY bad.
And he couldn't use a mental defense as Lori wouldn't allow it and he also didn't really attack Alex and the little he did of Chad, she didn't like it so his hands were tied. Makes me wonder what hed be like if he could go after someone... A victim or a co-conspirator, etc. I think going after Chad was allowed maybe to a point by Lori but calling his books dumb etc. was apparently something they forgot to discuss... Lol.

I still think she was as mad at being portrayed as stupid for leaving Charles for Chad as she was over Chad being portrayed as a toad which then made her look bad...

Given all the counts to go over, this was a fast verdict.
it doesn't surprise me though. When they are all in agreement and understand the counts and the prosecution has laid out the proof well and pounded it in in closing, they don't need to go into the minutiae if no disagreement and they all feel it very well proven.

Many say juries just want to go home and get it done which I believe to a point but ONLY if they feel they are all on the same page, etc. They want to do right. The thing I think is bigger is they WANT TO MAKE A STATEMENT to that defendant by showing we believe you SO guilty and the proof so OVERWHELMING that why would we have to deliberate for hours? They are showing it was CLINCHED and PROVEN and in this case, I do believe Mother's Day played in big time.

Uhm Happy Mother's Day Lori.... I don't think Tylee and JJ will be making you breakfast in bed Mrs. Mother of the Year. Poor Colby.

Love it. Oh she had a very bad day yesterday.... About time...

Although maybe she loves it. This woman moved at the drop of a hat throughout her life doing the same with her children. And divorced and remarried about the same way, at the drop of a hat.

So new digs and new charges just fun for her...

Or maybe not. Each new place she is going to have to figure out her new route for curlers and makeup and probably have to fight the pecking order to get such and mirror time. Not that they have glass mirrors I'm sure... That's okay because they would likely crack with her in front of one anyhow...

At least they finally accept this. I wonder if Tammy's family or Chad's are going to say anything?
I don't know that accept really explains it but they have little choice but to NOT say they support her or even still love her as their family has been ripped to shreds too and honestly there is a lot of weird sh*t in the family, sorry but there is. They can only try to be accepting of it and hope they get left alone and fade from the public eye. Imo. Summer I'll give some leeway too, the mother and father well, they are in touch with Lori and note mom never testified but still, they didn't pull anything further sot here's that.

I expect Tammy's family will definitely issue a statement. The ones in Chad's family against him may say some things like his SIL etc. but his kids sure aren't going to imo. His kids had better start waking up and smelling the coffee though as there is even more against their dad than Lori.

Well I didn't think I'd catch up here until next week on this thread but I guess I have.

It is SUCH a relief to see her put away, convicted now. Can't even imagine the relief of the families.

She needs to become irrelevant now, as much as can be anyhow at this stage. We will see her again of course but for now the families can have some relief, some time to just live their lives and try to heal some, until the next thing rears its head in Chad's or in appeals of Lori, etc.

I should have left it on the nice note above. Sorry but one more not as sweet.

I am not always a fan of NN but I agree with Ashleigh here on Boyce banning this trial from view and she has one of the Behavior Panel guys on as to Lori and it is short and a good one. I loved his remark about her hair yesterday lol. Dropped on her head... :D

They contrast her flaunting in in Hawaii with yesterday.

Okay. Just one more. I don't like at least half of the talking heads on here BUT there were a couple of good points and my main reason for posting it as they have better close ups of Lori yesterday. Not as nonchalant as she seemed. Looks a bit pis*ed off imo.

I gather she can't be sentenced to life twice on one person. Meaning she can't get a life sentence for the murder of Tylee and another on the conspiracy to murder Tylee, etc., etc. for each victim. So max is three life sentences on each of the three victims.

Who are John T. and Tom C ? (Cruise?)

From the link below -

"A source close to the trial told CBS News that while Vallow Daybell showed no emotion at the verdict, she was upset with her attorneys for trying in closing arguments to shift blame to her husband."

That's OK. He can do the same - it might get him off or he may plead to lesser crimes to avoid DP and get a lighter sentence. We may hear what really happened and who actually murdered them out of the three of them. He hasn't got anything to lose now.

I would almost make a bet that he does not show any mercy on her when he goes to trial. First of all, he has to say face to his kids. They were all saying that he was tricked somehow. Secondly, his life is on the line.

A very nice person was awesome enough to text me alerting me to a verdict while I was working. She also texted me the verdict when read! I wouldn't have known until later otherwise so at least I knew in real time even if I couldn't watch! Don't know a soul I work with who follows crime or I'd have told them or hollered it out to all like they did outside the courthouse and in here and the big crime community who followed this case online. It's always kind of a wake up call to realize the real world or many of them pay no such attention to such things lol.

I cashiered yesterday and I had a man who came through the checkout and he made a joke about how odd it was in his cart he endeded up with this nice Mother's Day card, but then rat poison and something else I can't recall that would kill or something... I figured he meant it like give mom or wife a card to have good evidence you cared but then here was this poision, etc... I knew immediately what he meant... I told him I wouldn't report him this time but if he had had zip ties and duct tape and a shovel I would have had to report it...

Later though on reflecting on it, who knows if it was a joke... I am pretty sure it was but...
I think I might have alerted the police. He could have been drawing attention to it humorously to make light of it but you never know. Does purchase of rat poison need a log filled out or anything?

This reminds me of a story that came up yesterday in my feed about a woman author who wrote a book for her son and then murdered the kid's father. I'll have to try and find it.

I would doubt it and hope not. You can make a to a jail inmate call that I'm aware of but then with the tablet thing they have nowadays who knows... Didn't used to be you could do phone calls at any time of day for instance or at your pleasure and you certain could never call INTO a jail to an inmate.
Yes but they are both inmates so I just wonder if they can call each other or how would they communicate. Email?

This isn’t the woman that Nate said wrote a book about her dead husband, and then she was arrested for his murder?
