JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

• April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
• December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.
• February 2019 - Charles Vallow files for divorce from Lori, claiming she viewed herself as a god preparing for the second coming, and she would kill him if he got in her way.
• February - April 2019 - Lori disappears for nearly two months, leaving her children with others.
• June 2019 - Lori's niece demands a divorce from her husband, who says she shares similar beliefs to her aunt.
• July 11, 2019 - Charles Vallow shot and killed by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Shooting initially ruled self-defense.
• August 2019 - Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho with kids
• September 3, 2019 - Joshua "JJ" Vallow enrolled in school
• September 23, 2019 - JJ last attended school
• September 24, 2019 - Lori unenrolls JJ from school, saying she would be homeschooling him.
• September 2019 - Tylee also seen in September, but it's unclear when and where (she had graduated early)
• October 2, 2019 - Lori's niece's ex-husband was shot at, missing his head by inches. Shooter was driving a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow.
• October 9, 2019 - Tammy Daybell, Chad's wife, called 911 and said a masked man shot at her with a paintball gun.
• October 19, 2019 - Tammy Daybell dies, death is ruled natural
• October 25, 2019 - Tylee, or someone using her phone, texts a friend
• Late October / Early November 2019 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow get married
• November 26, 2019 - Welfare check requested for JJ at the request of extended family - police are told he is in Arizona with family, but he is not
• November 27, 2019 - Police return to serve a search warrant, finding the Daybell's gone
• December 12, 2019 - Lori's brother, who had shot her ex-husband, dies mysteriously in Arizona
• December 20, 2019 - Search for JJ and Tylee goes public
• December 30, 2019 - LE says Lori knows where her children are but will not cooperate
• January 25, 2020 - Chad & Lori are located in Hawaii, served with a notice that she must produce the children within 5 days
• January 30, 2020 - Lori fails to produce JJ and Tylee

I don't like it as I want them charged but if I'm honest, I do have to say I'm not sure if there is ENOUGH proof there. I mean there is enough totally to surmise knowing the entire story of all and putting it all together for us. To get that across to a jury though without covering ALL THINGS, timelines, murders, texts, etc... And it isn't quite as direct or obvious as with the three murders Lori was just tried for... Or maybe there is enough but (and I am talking about Mel P with Brandon's too), there was a deal made, etc. or someone won't go against her, etc. IS Brandon against her? I am serious. I failed to understand when he allowed and quit fighting to go to joint custody after all he knew and when things were going against her... And even Ian wants to protect her... I think there is a lot we don't know or these men are idiots.

As to Chad I THINK BOTH he and Lori had a pact to kill both of their spouses. I think Lori got upset even after she took care of Charles that Chad hadn't gotten rid of Tammy yet...

That's exactly what I've always thought. That she did "her" part, Charles was dead but he hadn't taken care of Tammy yet and also if I recall was with Tammy on a family trip I think for her sister's birthday party or something which Lori seemed very irate over. I'm sure he had no qualms about getting rid of Tammy as he was as cold as ice with the quick burial and all else after, just as he called a cemetery or whatnot about Charles' death too. For some reason though he wasn't on it fast enough for Lori I think... He set the times based on when they hit zero or ten but I think with Lori being broke and all (other than her nice 4K a month which she probably blew through easily) and wanting the obstacles out of the way, nothing was happening fast enough for her. She kept repeatedly asking if JJ was there yet too, like WHEN can he be killed, she wanted it NOW.

AS to murder they could test the water as there is no statute of limitations. I imagine there IS though on attempted murder. How many years are we past Brandon's attempt? Not sure on that but to my knowledge only murder is there no statute on and now some rape cases have far longer as well if someone was a child but most other things are like three years, at least in the states I am used to. Or maybe three years is just civil and there is longer like five or seven on criminal, heck I can't recall any longer. Saturated with life overload and details in all these cases. Can hardly keep up.

Also my first thought is of like some Halloween thing and some movie of good but bad witches but whatever.... Alex ignored it and I think he if I recall correctly ignored the one about alcohol too so I wouldn't count on any of this bunch not going there AND probably Chad advising them that well he was told it wasn't meant to be that way by a vision, etc...

I don't know. I think the photo is downright chilling with knowing what we know... I don't know WHAT to think of it or WHY that is but it looks juvenile which I actually think of this bunch as in many ways but yet they are evil... It is difficult to combine those two thoughts. I mean really Chad and Lori seem like teenagers as they all claim Alex was from the car accident. Failure to launch types who never could have made it on their own without spouses. Looking for money and sex at any cost and fun in the sun. Yet EVIL. But almost immature at the same time... I can't put it into words. Yeah this "coven" and this pic could have been something as ridiculous as pot and then they plotted about how funny it would be to murder and do it horribly...

I look at this pic and am looking for a cauldron with body parts in it... I will leave it at that, just because of WHO THEY ARE it brings thoughts of all sorts to mind...

I have found this copy of "Warrior up". JM (ex Az cop), Lori and Melani G. Haven't listened yet but have read some of the comments. This has been up on you tube for 3 years and I can't believe I have not found it before.



Ok I have listened to as much as I can stand of it. JM talking about how he manned up after a work accident. Lori and Mel are only on for the beginning and end few minutes (apart from some ooh aahing and cooing during his monologue) if you just want to check that out.

I think I've seen it but I could certainly use a refresher on it. It irritates me some he is hardly ever mentioned and why is that? Others who knew them were used at trial but not him. He also is rarely brought up and many who follow the case have likely never even heard his name. It is even more interesting that with the few men there seem to be around these two, that he doesn't come up more.

Found out the answer to a question I had upthread a few days ago. Lori Hellis said last night that no, most likely in Chad's trial, the jurors will not be able to hear Lori, his co-conspirator was convicted as it would be too prejudicial. I had thought not and this more or less confirms that. She did say the could and would know she was charged as a co-conspirator though, just not the outcome or even that she had been tried I think.

Yeah I think they can tell the story because it was the two of them the prosecution will say et. just like the defense can bring her in or blame her, etc. but the fact a jury convicted her, nope.

Yeah, it is interesting. The deference they show him. Interesting how all seem to have Gilbert AZ and then Rexburg, ID etc. connections, podcasts, books, happened to meet, be on his show, etc., etc. Does it mean he did something? No. But it is uncanny. I guess much can be put down to the church and the areas they all move between...? Like ID to AZ and vice versa... All or many follow some similar beliefs and are in things like Feeding the People, end times, etc...

He talks of wingnuts on the internet and they talk of keyboard warriors and yeah, I'm sure they've seen plenty of that but never refer to Chad, Lori, Mel or any of them as wingnuts... Jason doesn't, the cops don't, etc. just about the people on the internet.

There was enough reason to bring him in and what I wonder did they ever find out as to his whereabouts over those months?

If I recall, he was also fired or let go as a cop. Probably made to resign if I recall correctly. Funny how he refers to it here with "fellow" cops that he retired...

This all seemed just normal, friendly, no big deal... Why is it if my memory serves that I connect him with Lori and Mel G very much and they make reference to him I think in some communication or two making it sound as if he is someone close and that they can count on... Memory is foggy with it...

What did they ever find out as to where he was. He as much as said he wasn't working I think and yes he was traveling a lot at about that time... He checked his calendar and found nothing but I kept thinking why is it he isn't checking his texts? That's what would tell me what I might have been doing... That I was texting my mom, my boss, my sister, my kids, etc. saying this or that...

And Lori wanted to meet him as she knew he authored this or that he said... Sounds familiar.
