JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

1580704661510.png

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

So Adam found out Alex was dead by a call from Brandon who told him the FBI informed him. I think I am way past overloaded with cases and this case alone and all its details. I believe he died around the time Tammy's body was about to exhumed wasn't it? I guess just kind of thrown that the FBI called Brandon about Alex's death, etc.

Also it is Adam's belief that Alex was taken out, murdered, likely by some poison. I more or less think the same and always have as do many.

No real shocking revelations but what one would figure with regard to Alex. He had over 400 jobs in his lifetime and lacked ambition and some other tidbits. Wanted to be important to someone, etc. Never was a father or married other than that one brief one. Rex points out he nor Lori or Chad represent the religion, etc. I believe this is part of what he wants to convey or at least that's a feeling I have and I have some thoughts on that but I will keep them to myself.

They didn't touch on Alex's out of country trips, his thing with a teenager, his trips to Mexico and his sexual appetite which I think is definitely significant. Did mention his being excommunicated from the church. Also said Alex wanted to be "good". Well he failed at that.
Not directed at you.

400 jobs? Thats basically a job a month from the age of 16. That seems a bit embellished.

Didn't someone testify at Lori's trial that he had brain damage?

Yeah that was mentioned too, the car accident.

IT could well be embellished but he was describing some great talk they had once or some such and how it came around to Alex saying he had 400 jobs. Adam seemed to believe it and maybe they sat around one night or something while Alex counted them all, not real sure. The number yes was shocking so I get what you mean.

He also mentioned the 18 wheeler job, I think his last one?, and how he would listen to these podcasts over and over etc. while driving of the people Chad and Lori listened to...

Alex made a lot of money at the job he was at before he started working for free for his sister.
For some reason I bet Alex was told there would be a lot of money, he would get a share, never have to work a real job, was this warrior in another life and was put here to protect him (this par they did tell him for real), etc. , etc. I bet however that he saw little money. Wasn't it he that old Mel her life insurance from Brandon and all her money was going to pay for all others too, etc.? Lori said that to someone anyhow.

Then when something didn't pan out it was the next step he was assured would bring insurance. I am sure Charles murder and no insurance turned into Kay's fault and then Tammy had to be killed so Chad could get insurance plus attempt on Brandon etc.

He was truly gullible imo yet Adam said he at first laughed at and dismissed Lori's new beliefs.

Yeah, wasn't he a truck driver, last job? Making good money. Guessing Chad and Lori got him to quit as well as to marry Zulema but then if Alex truly had 400 jobs he may well have quit or lost it himself too...

I'm guessing Alex was guaranteed a spot in the 144,000.

BTW, why 144,000? Why didn't God come up with something like 144,003? Or maybe 144,512? Nope it was exactly 144,000.

God thinking: Geez, I gotta whittle this number down. Let's see Bartholomew, Nancy, Aloicious, Deborah, Debbie, Benjamin, Sammy, Ben and Marcus all deserve to come along, but then it would make a weird number. Well, too bad for them. I gotta keep it at 144,000 even.

Yeah I'm sure. He was someone per Chad and Lori in a past life too and was a chosen one, had a purpose and a job to do. Was a warrior, a protector, etc.

I don't know. 144K isn't very many is it on the face of this earth? I think apparently it is also believed by Chad and Lori it was in this country they were to find them all. No mention of them traveling out of country just Alex. I believe but not sure it is said they will come from every corner of the earth. I'm sure at some point Chad and Lori intended to go further than tropical Hawaii or more likely send their peons to all corners of the earth to bring the 144K together right? Yah I'm sure. (Sarcasm)

They seem to be all white and Mormon although maybe with Zulema they thought they'd stepped outside of the box a bit. Amazing they were the one sin the know that had to tell others of the 144K that they were chosen and that God didn't or one of the saints didn't... But then they were and still are SPECIAL. I mean aren't they?

I believe in the Bible the 144,000 is talking about the Jewish people. I don’t know where the Mormon part of it came in. Maybe in the Book of Mormon?
I don't know either. Will be the first to say although very much a believer in God, I am not the most up on all of these things or most well read on the bible. Any bible. I used to be more so. I sure know little of their Book of Mormon. Just being honest.

What I do know is I am pretty sure in the first mention of 144K ANYWHERE in time, it said nothing about Chad and Lori and life as we know it ending in Rexburg, Idaho. That's Chad or maybe someone before him he copied that had some false vision or claimed one and most likely him. I call it bullsh*t.

This religion was formed late in time over one self proclaimed vision by a teenager. Was it not? And seems to be full of people who want to be as important and have the same experience and so they do.

Maybe not PC but that's what I see and that's the least of the things it seems to cause or beliefs it seems to cause or roads many in it seem to go down.

I know things can be done by people who believed in any religion and I'm not saying the religion is at fault and not Chad and Lori, etc. for these murders. But....

And man could I go on about more but I won't. If I did it would involve things like money, need for self importance and to be special, sex, power and more. Preparing for the end times, podcasts, books, making money off such things as well. Corruption. . Keeping track of their members almost to an intrusive level. Polygamy. And boy try to take your kids and leave it...

I’m caught up on the podcasts and I think my first take away is how Adam said he feels like he didn’t do enough. But hindsight is always 20/20. After a tragedy where we’ve had a hinky feeling, we always feel like we didn’t do enough.

Lori Vallow Daybell is scheduled to be sentenced on murder charges in ten days.

Judge Steven Boyce will sentence Daybell, 50, in a Fremont County Courtroom at 9 a.m. on July 31. The hearing is not expected to last longer than one day, according to a news advisory from the Idaho Judicial Branch.

Seating will be extremely limited inside the courtroom. Law enforcement, family members of victims and court personnel will have reserved seats. The remaining seats will be open to the public on a first come, first serve basis. A courtroom conduct order will be in effect for anyone who attends in-person.

Boyce is allowing a livestream of the sentencing with court operated cameras and audio. EastIdahoNews.com will provide the feed on our website, Facebook page and YouTube channel. The judge is also permitting one pool photographer to take pictures inside the courtroom on behalf of the media.

The prosecution and defense teams will provide sentence recommendations. Kay Woodcock, JJ Vallow’s grandmother, is expected to give a victim impact statement, along with Samantha Gwilliam, Tammy Daybell’s sister, and Vicki Hoban, Tammy Daybell’s aunt. Other victims may also speak or submit letters to the judge.

Lori Daybell will be given the chance to make a statement if she wishes.

Boyce will hand down his sentence once everyone has spoken.

Daybell faces 10 years to life in prison on each of the murder and conspiracy to commit murder charges. She could be sentenced 1-20 years in prison on the grand theft charge.
