JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

You mentioned other family members speaking on this show that might not have shared their experiences before. Who were they again?
There was her other brother, Adam, which we have heard some about. Then there was his son, Lori's nephew, who lived with Lori and Charles I think it was for a bit and helped out and he saw her change... One example of a few he gave is one time he walked into some meeting or some such thing with a ton of people in the room and like clockwork their heads all swiveled in the same direction and looked at him with the same expression almost and he said it was scary (I am paraphasing)... He saw she herself change too...

If you recall, it was Adam I think Brandon was talking to and Charles and Lori was not happy about that brother I don't think. Now knowing what his son was probably seeing and telling him too, it makes some more sense...

I am trying to recall if there were others... There was a bit about Chad's childhood and growing up and such... There was that Julie Rowe person, the other author... I think his books made at the most $2,000 one year. Clearly Tammy was the backbone support wise, I have always figured that...

There were things about Prepping the People and someone said that Lori sent her or gave her like a ton of canned foods once to start hoarding/stockpiling in seriousness and the woman just thought "are you serious..." (Again paraphrasing)...

Good to know his books weren't all that popular! Crazy.

@GrandmaBear I watched all 3 and the only part I didn't know was why Brandon ID'd JJ. Other than that it was the same story we've heard just thru the eyes of the Woodcocks.
Most of it wasn't new although it put together a pretty good recap I thought, without sidetracking into what is the entire tons of branches and flat out evil and nuttiness this case goes into where even news reporters can hardly keep it straight without charts and branches on them and dates and places and police departments. The deaths, the movements, the marriages (of all, not just Lori) the attempts on Tammy and Brandon, Joe's death, etc, keeping the Melanies straight, etc. Oh and the divorces...

I knew actually that Brandon ID'd JJ but I had forgotten that part and it had a bit more detail. It was the nephew that I do not recall, I may have heard a thing or two but not the story or two he relayed... I would watch that again before I will ever watch the Chris Watts garbage going on after his conviction including the Netflix thing and the more recent bs because these Doomsday weirdos are not convicted yet, Watts is. I haven't and I won't. That man is convicted and needs to SHUT UP and so does his family. Imho. Talk about revictimization...

The other thing is I know people who know nothing about almost any current case but if you put it on TV they become aware of it, or people just learning the case, I think it was good for that. And if they know nothing about the case or players, they shall never be able to follow the extra characters that come along through this thing, etc. because I need a reminder when I have not followed it for a bit...

Jmo.

I watched all three episodes tonight and even though I have a pretty good handle on this case, I still enjoyed watching it from the Woodcocks' point of view. All the pain that Chad, Lori, and Alex inflicted and then Lori has the nerve to just smile away in court like nothing ever happened. I cannot comprehend how people like Chad and Lori can walk on the face of this earth.

It scares me that had it not been for the Woodcocks, they would have likely continued killing and quite possibly never crossed anyone's radar. Every single person around them seemed to care less where these children were (or they knew) and those that would care were dead for the most part.

The smugness of both she and Chad when knowing all along these children were brutally killed is beyond comprehension.

That's probably why they had to kill the adults first, so no one would miss the children. The Woodcocks are lucky to be alive!
