Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *MISTRIAL*

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

yeah definitely weird. I don't think I ever addressed that or said otherwise. they surely are. I see it though a bit differently and not that Karen didn't hit him though and not that he was killed in some fight in the home and a dog was involved...

after ingesting a ton on Daybell in the last day or two I left this one for last as it just gives me the striking contrast of the sheer waste this case is in either direction as compared to something like that and resources. I see liars on all sides in this one. for various reasons though of each.

imo it was all protecting their own at first and that included Karen most likely... at FIRST.

Ok, but explain to me why you think it's impossible for all of them to conspire against her yet you believe it's possible for all of them to conspire to cover for her. It's the exact same thing.

I'm not saying it isn't possible that you are correct, but it's the exact same thing as in all of those people conspiring together for a desired outcome.

She deleted MULTIPLE kinds of things, too. Call logs, text logs and search history. That is far from any kind of accident.

What kind of phone actually butt dials? I literally know no one who has a phone capable of that with current technology.

Mine can if I forget to lock it and the lock timer hasn't timed out yet, but there is no way i could "accidently" butt dial multiple people multiple times in the same few moments. It might happen once.

My mom deletes everything. I'm terrible and the opposite. If you see her email account she will have two in it and same with texts on phone, etc.

And I don't know that she deleted it nor do you. And again I've never talked that I don't believe some things went on but not for the reasons imo the defense wants believed. Again no idea.

And I'd add that if you thought the witness innocent you'd then be talking it the other way OR if it was Read who had things deleted you would... It's all about who you like as to what you fall for. Probably true of all of us to a point...

I could do a whole conversation about phone stories. Like sitting across the room seeing it light up and start dialing someone just for starters. I could tell a LOT of things about such, not mine but people who use them and all apps and such routinely which I DO NOT.

That said, it doesn't mean I believe that's necessarily what happened here and things weren't deleted, they maybe were. It though on its own does not make me believe the defense story. Going to take a whole picture and I'm not seeing such.

That's a WHOLE LOT different than the number of people it would take to pull off the conspiracy defense has come up within and how many would have to be involved from various agencies, experts, state, etc.

I probably won't get in here for a week and not even sure if then and I shouldn't have to repeat it but I see a lot of what people on the "other side see" and don't disagree. it was a sh*tty investigation and they may well have blown it and so on, but it doesn't mean to me she didn't do it or was framed. It doesn't mean there will be enough to find her guilty or that I could. Listen to the guys above, etc. and they are VERY critical of it all. I don't know if she will be acquitted, she may be, I suspect a hung jury at least, SO FAR but it doesn't mean I think her innocent. I don't. She was hysterical because she KNEW.

The above is an interesting talk of every thought and side.

One of the guys on what I watched thought she was a very strong witness who mostly was telling the truth but did admit this part is a problem. Haven't heard a single person here say she was strong. Said she was far better than her husband. They are very critical of the investigation and the chances they lost, like of Karen's admissions.

The P's phone expert? They are still on the P's case in chief aren't they? I don't watch it so I wouldn't know but thought so. Probably wrong, Daybell is towards ending so maybe this one is too but last I recall they were still on the P I thought.

Phone experts are necessary and are huge for their evidence but I don't find them interesting lol. Testimony is technical and dry and hard to want to listen to and follow for hours. IMPORTANT and if a juror of course listen and pay close attention, I'd have to to be fair, but it isn't someone I'd look forward to watching. I'll just take the recap on witnesses like that by someone else who did hear all and shares their take. Not watching this trial anyhow. No time of course and if I had it, I still likely wouldn't.

Some kinds of cases just are not my preferred cup of tea and this would be one. I've unfortunately after never caring to I did unfortunately take more than a look some time back and now feel I at least should see it out and know others care about it so here I am on occasion.

The data will tell them if it was deleted and recovered or not. So yes, it's pretty obvious it was actually deleted.

I assume you mean it was fiery and a constant go round? Indeed, the expert will be capable of comprehending the call report that the defense expected Jen to be capable of interpreting.
The report wasn't shown in court, nor was John's.

Exactly! Plus, it's multiple types of things that were deleted, not just one. It was texts AND calls AND search history and who knows what else. No way that was an accident. Then let's add that there are multiple people that all did that.
