LIBBY GERMAN & ABBY WILLIAMS: Indiana vs. Richard Allen for 2017 murder of two Delphi girls *GUILTY*

On February 14, 2017, the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German were discovered near the Monon High Bridge Trail, which is part of the Delphi Historic Trails in Delphi, Indiana, United States, after the young girls had disappeared from the same trail the previous day. The murders have received significant media coverage because a photo and audio recording of an individual believed to be the girls' murderer was found on German's smartphone. Despite the audio and video recordings of the suspect that have been circulated and the more than 26,000 tips that police have received, no arrest in the case has been made.[1][2][3]

Police have not publicly stated nor released details of how the girls were murdered.[6] As early as February 15, 2017, Indiana State Police began circulating a still image of an individual reportedly seen on the Monon High Bridge Trail near where the two friends were slain; the grainy photograph appearing to capture a Caucasian male, with hands in pockets, walking on the rail bridge, head down, toward the girls.[4] A few days later, the person in the photograph was named the prime suspect in the double-homicide.[5]

On February 22, law enforcement released an audio recording where the voice of the assailant,[7] though in some degree muffled, is heard to say, "Down the hill." It was at this news conference that officials credited the source of the audio and imagery to German's smartphone, and, further, regarded her as a hero for having had the uncanny foresight and fortitude to record the exchange in secret. Police indicated that additional evidence from the phone had been secured, but that they did not release it so as not to "compromise any future trial." By this time, the reward offered in the case was set at $41,000.[5]

No, he says "guys" then you hear "hi" which seems to be Libby, and then you hear the gun rack...

It's Liggett's account of what he hears on the video I believe as or after it is played... And I believe Tom's account on hearing it... Waiting to be sure on that but regardless this seems to be the order of things and things said...

Since yesterday was no court and hasn't started this week yet, figured a good place to drop this in here and add some info on last week... Since I didn't follow in here for a day or few maybe this has all been covered, don't know, but covering, in case.

About 1:53 in almost 1:54. And ends about 1:58 so just 4 minutes. It's easier to listen to it probably as he tried to get it all, and the new "quotes" from the girls. Listen to the end, it's clear I think maybe each time they should the video, it is original, then stabilized, then cleaned up maybe with each admission...?

I'm a broken record but the judge has done a huge disservice here. To all. People attending are struggling.

Anyhow when it was said the gun was racked, the D objected and the judge sustained so to be stricken and ignored. Uhm, WHY. It makes perfect sense with what the girls have said and how they came to go down the hill, and that he had a gun. For all who say she never sides with the D... Why should that be stricken? I suppose it was agreed to somehow before trial.. Or who knows... I mean really WHO KNOWS? So much is blind here.

Of interest to me as well is Libby seemed to know the way down and was telling Abby. So was she more familiar here than Abby with the way down? Probably since Abby had never crossed the bridge until that day from what we've always understood... Abby says don't leave her...

Also I recall thinking last week in something I read that Libby was telling BG that's not the way down, this is the way and so that's how unclear all the reporting is or it may have been my lack of time. Here it sounds like Libby is telling Abby where to go, and the way down and whispering about the gun, etc...

Again this just chills me... I guess Libby could have run without Abby and she'd have likely been alive today, not sure Abby would have been but seems she may have wanted to buy instincit but Abby asked her not to leave her... And as we've heard, friend that she was, she didn't...

Freaking monster. And why the apparent racking of the gun couldn't be said, who knows, but I think just the context of all it should have been allowed but again we haven't been privy to all...

So as you listen to these few minutes he corrects a thing or two. He says guys, Libby says hi, then you hear the gun rack... Then it's down the hill...

I have no idea but am guessing Tom has decided to try to stay the duration now that he's learned just go without sleep, food, have to stand in line hours before, risk your seat if you leave the coutroom on break, etc...

I haven't stayed fully up with all of his either and don't know how he's doing it...

Anyhow, maybe this was covered in the days I missed on here as well but this was all new to us, and these girls and for sure Libby had one heck of an instinct and it makes me wonder if he had the gun out at some point in hand... Maybe not pointing just carrying and siwinging when he got closer....? She's telling Abby the path, and saying see, not here... Abby's saying don't leave me, etc... The instinicts or threat was so obvious they were talking it, whispering it imo... My God.

Guys. Libby--Hi. Rack gun. Down the hill.

Four minutes for this part. I gave the time stamp.

They are playing the video. If you are talking about when he met the DNR guy at the grocery store, he never went to record anything and nothing went missing other than the tip. and notes, not any recording.
Btw, I think I've made sense of why Dulin's notes ended up where they were.
I think since the tip was followed up, it was "cleared". In other words, it was the tip that was cleared, not Allen.

So the 40 caliber Winchester bullet in the keepsake box. Box also had photos and a letter in it. Did we know this, I can't recall... PIcs ring a bell but not letter...So are those things related to the bullet in the box or is the box just something keeping some various important things to him that are unrelated...?

I'm sure we don't know the answers so just a rhetorical question by me at this point...

I'm back on a few days ago with Tom and he is a bit ticked th P did not clear up the wrong time by the one witness where the photo would have. He said he needs to be on the P team as he would have realized the need to lol. I think it was Voorhies. and the facts show otherwise, she was off on it, and they didn't clear it up. Hopefully they go back and do so, and he's anal for detail normally, and he's right, he should be there reminding them lol. However, never seen him so tired either in trying to keep up.

I'm curious though with the keepsake bullet, AND the pics and letter...I mean like I said all three things could be unrelated and just his big mementos from his lifetime all in the same box.

Anyone know more or recall anything else on it?

Also the Carhart jacket mentioned again... Not new but things still wondering about...

I don't know to what you are referring. What is the date of this missing video and do you have a link to confirm there was a video that was deleted?
I think what is being referred to is the camera being turned on late. I swear Holman is claiming he read RA his rights again, started the interrogation and forgot to record it for awhile.

Well perhaps Emu could explain what he means and provide a link if that is what he means. That's not a missing video but something different IMO. We currently have a situation where we are missing a lot of testimony because we are getting someones interpretation of the testimony, which is pathetic at best. So chunks of testimony are missing all over the place.

Today in court -

Judge Gull admonishes members of the public for falling asleep in the coutroom.

Another expert on DNA confirmed the hair in Abby's hand was from Kelsi, Libby's sister. We said this was probable as it was Kelsi's sweatshirt she was wearing, so that ended up a big nothing burger.

Expert also said there was not enoigh DNA on the bullet to get anything but confirmed it was a match for RA's gun.

I am beginning to lose interest now as the reporting is not great. I pretty much think evidence is being hyped in some instances eg such a big thing was made about this DNA in Abby's hand, for example.

I'm trying to finish one of Tom's. Haven't done all and kept up. About the video by Libby and how it sometimes went to the ground had to be stabilized, etc. Don't think this has been talked of a lot. Abby says is he right here to Libby apparently. Then don't leave me up here. Tom says he did the best he could hearing what he could and writing as fast as he could. So words may not be exact but quite approximate. I'll blame Gull for that yet again and this is from someone IN the courtroom. Then Libby said see, this is the path. then she whispered like "that be a gun".... Libby continued there's no path here, we have to go down here... then you hear "guys" and he thinks Libby says "hi"...

More to come but Tom started out by saying he estimated where Abby and BG were before then going into these words, etc... And he thought BG maybe 25 feet from Abby past platform six, tried to count railroad ties thought Abby ten from end and Libby... Of course we'd have to assume both kept walking as Tom is telling us the words...

Have we heard an account of all of this? It's chilling to me...

Stopping there will continue with the rest of what he has.

AGain I blame Gull for this all being so not perfectly clear. It is Liggett on the stand who said he watched and listened to this 100s of times of which I have absolutely no doubt they all did. So if I'm following this all correctly, these exchanges were between Libby and Abby as he got closer and closer... Because then she says "hi"...
I saw a Gray Hughes reconstruction of this. I don't usually like his stuff put this was good. I'll link if I can. Here it is - at time stamp 5 minutes to 10 minutes approx.

Delphi murders: State’s forensic expert says no DNA from Allen found

DNA evidence—or the lack thereof—took center stage in the Delphi murders trial, with the state’s expert testifying that she hadn’t found any DNA from Richard Allen on items recovered from the murder scene.

On Day 9 of testimony, Stacy Bozinovski, an Indiana State Police forensic scientist, took the stand. Bozinovski spent the first part of testimony outlining her qualifications and giving the jury a crash court in DNA collection and analysis.

Bozinovski worked on DNA evidence in the Delphi case and did the report in March 2017. It included an analysis of the rape kits administered on both girls.

Delphi murders: Blood spatter expert weighs in on girls’ final moments

Libby German’s grandmother, Becky Patty, reeled in the gallery as a blood spatter expert described what he believed to be the final, bloody moments of her granddaughter’s life.

As Patty threw herself into her hands, appearing to cry, Richard Allen sat alongside his lawyers as gruesome crime scene photos displayed the bloody remains of Abby Williams and Libby German to those in attendance at the Carroll County courthouse. Allen is accused of murdering the two girls near the Monon High Bridge in Delphi on Feb. 13, 2017. He was arrested five years after they died.

Graphic crime scene photographs were shown during Cicero’s testimony as he described how Libby was likely mortally injured before being dragged 20 feet or so to her final resting place.

Previous autopsy findings revealed how the girls’ throats were cut — Libby’s more than once.

Cicero believes Libby was slashed near or against the tree, causing blood stains on the bark.

Blood on Libby’s hands reveals she may have grabbed her throat to try and stop the bleeding, Cicero described. Blood on her foot is consistent with her walking through her blood. Cicero believes Libby was standing upright at one point, due to the flow of blood stains on her torso.

Blood flow on her thighs reveals she was in a seated position at another point, Cicero said.
