LIBBY GERMAN & ABBY WILLIAMS: Indiana vs. Richard Allen for 2017 murder of two Delphi girls *GUILTY*

On February 14, 2017, the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German were discovered near the Monon High Bridge Trail, which is part of the Delphi Historic Trails in Delphi, Indiana, United States, after the young girls had disappeared from the same trail the previous day. The murders have received significant media coverage because a photo and audio recording of an individual believed to be the girls' murderer was found on German's smartphone. Despite the audio and video recordings of the suspect that have been circulated and the more than 26,000 tips that police have received, no arrest in the case has been made.[1][2][3]

Police have not publicly stated nor released details of how the girls were murdered.[6] As early as February 15, 2017, Indiana State Police began circulating a still image of an individual reportedly seen on the Monon High Bridge Trail near where the two friends were slain; the grainy photograph appearing to capture a Caucasian male, with hands in pockets, walking on the rail bridge, head down, toward the girls.[4] A few days later, the person in the photograph was named the prime suspect in the double-homicide.[5]

On February 22, law enforcement released an audio recording where the voice of the assailant,[7] though in some degree muffled, is heard to say, "Down the hill." It was at this news conference that officials credited the source of the audio and imagery to German's smartphone, and, further, regarded her as a hero for having had the uncanny foresight and fortitude to record the exchange in secret. Police indicated that additional evidence from the phone had been secured, but that they did not release it so as not to "compromise any future trial." By this time, the reward offered in the case was set at $41,000.[5]

a person or two keep saying on Tom's chat that Gray Hughes and Wala are in big trouble as he knew about the van back in March...

Oh Lord. Gray called in. @Regina

I know you watch Gray, I generally don't too much, i watch Tom, but they are both on Tom's show right now (not live, I am watching after the fact). You just may have to check Tom out. I'll see what he has to say about this Wala and van thing...

Lol Tom generally doesn't have callers, or have any on, but he did say before letting him on he knew the person wasn't a troll lol and here came Gray.

He was told a RUMOR in this year. But has never talked to Wala per him. However, Waa supposedly did watch his show....

Tom is now asking him to show how Betsy Blair did not see the four girls as this he hasn't figured out, so he is asking Gray for a simulaton if he has one on how she didn't see them.

This is pretty good. two guys who know a lot about the case talking. They know the trails and the times, etc. and yet I'd say Tom knows a bit more than Gray as far as the layout, etc. BUT both asking the other what they see that they don't, etc. and discussing it. I honestly see Gray rarely be nice to other podcasters and he's showing respect for Tom because imo Tom does one heckuva good job himself. And knows his stuff. He's trying to understand how Blair did not see the girls. BOTH agree RA clearly lied. Etc. they are kind of working things out with what the other knows and each knows. Pretty good.

Also intersting is Tom was a trial and heard the testimony and Gray didn't, so he's giving him a few statements as to time, etc.

The conversaton between these two is REALLY GOOD. Both know things the other doesn't, and have thoughts the other DOESN'T. Tom's actually prorbably better informed but BOTH ARE with their own things... And it''s good they are bouncing some off the other. But both are very clear on RA is BG.

Gray says could the psychosis if any have been caused because hew as trying to unburden and confess and wife and mom would not let him....

It's just a good conversation. This video is hours long and I'm only halfway through but the case is ocver (mostly) and I will watch it all, whether a half hour a morning or night, none for a few days and more in a few, etc. Pretty darned good back and forth and I agree with most all of the thoughts of each. Both question a few things as well.

Tom asks Gray if RA could have to answer any question, or you have one question what would it be you'd like an answer to and Gray says whether RA knew these girls were going to be there not and goes into the KK thing, him being in Peru that day IF true to see his mom, it was said no one on the stand EVER confirmed that, really coiincidental, gives some other reasons, etc. If there's any thing most of us haven't entirely dismissed, it is THAT. It is sooo darned coincidental and I don't believe in too many coincidences. they both scoff at the O thing pretty much and they call teh Frank's memo thing ridiculous and Gray really does, says it's like some YTer wrote it, not an atty.... NO SH*T. And s much b.s. n it and so forth. Unprofessional, full of crap, never seen a filing like it. Paraphrasing here.

This is good hearing these two ask the other one questions re what they both know or think. tom's been on it for some years, but Gray longer. But Tom has his very analytical mind and DID attend the trial and Gray didn't. It's just a good discussion.

Highly recommending. Gotta head for bed soon, not going to have more than four hours sleep and in for a heck of an at least two weeks. Les shours if I stay watching it and go later. Interesting enough tempted to stay up later but better start thinking about bed if smart.

If some who thinks there is some huge conspiracy would just listen to it all put together, it is all there. And RA did it to himself long before being in prison or his attys accusing any O.

Really good dicussion, a serous one. I will probably have to not finish it tonight. Saw a bt other nights but wsn't far in but now that it's hit this, I was always sure I wold finish as I almost always finish tom's but now am doubly sure I will.

Been pretty dull lately and this is GOOD.

So this makes me wonder if Wala could have mentioned the white van on social media when she heard that from BG?

Very interesting info.

You mentioning that maybe Abbey's mum had hugged KA, immediately made me wonder if she knew them. She worked in a bar didn't she?

Another thing I should mention and I've wondered this myself , is RA never said a white van, he said a van per Tom. There were a couple of things Tom made clear long before Gray was on. It was in that driveway, etc. but I recall this happenng. Testimony was of a van not a white one re what he said to Wala.

If you read on, you'll see that Gray said they removed the year, the ones trying to imply it was the March before. I will say though that the D leaks here or "stolen" info by MW that went to YTers down their chain, and Wala's getting on SM and such sure make one wonder.

I have to give it up and go to bed and Gray was still on with Tom when I did. But yes, darned good discussion. Both know tons about the case and each a few things the other didn't or doesn't, etc. and kind of bouncng some things back and forth. The voice was another. Both feel it is clear BG is RA and Gray said it long ago and Tom wen to the trial wanting it proven to him if he was. not able to convict him until then, and it was done to his satisfaction. You'd never know that from the news media but I heard far more than Tom say that. If I recall, Aspen Connor went in actually more on the D side of belief and his opinion was changed. I think Lauren was another and maybe Lee, can't recall, with no opinion until attending trial. Many, anyhow.

It's really good. And I will be finishing it at SOME point. Watched quite a bit more of it last night. But it's lengthy so going to take me a bit. Much I didn't mention. I know most won't but I'm actually finding little on right now and the ones on are other crimes I haven't taken a look at, And it's quiet here on top of it. Caught up with my cooking ones and then went to this one of Tom's.

And it was unplanned.

That's an interesting point on Anna hugging KA's wife. I believe she was the one after the one hearing, I just recall it said by some report how the girl's families, not clear on it, embraced her, but think it was A's mom. Yes I think the bartending was a second job wasn't it? And the Allens were clearly bar flies.

You know I've heard hints that when the gag order is lifted and this is over and he's sentenced, there are a few people with some stories re RA. Not that they were bound by it but people just complied and were not going to affect things. I know Lauren has one such person who knew him but hasn't spoken yet.

To go back to A's mom, I'd say there was a good chance she knew them. It's a small town and if part of the bar scene, you often know about everyone in such. You might have one you hang at more than others, but still, that's the way it generally is.

Also, even though Gray cleared the van thing up and the fact the year was attempted to be made unclear, it still came from some rumor and who was putting that out there... Or to him etc. I think he came on in large part because somene was telling him that on Tom's live there was someone claiming such. Tom tog ive HIM credit never bit on it from the viewer doing that as he had no clue about it. Said he never watched Gray or other YTers which I entirely believe as he's always too busy barely keeping up with his own.

they are clearly not friends but both were very interested in bouncing some things off the other. GOOD conversation as I'm likey repeating LOL.

I don't watch Gray much as he spends way too much time not getting to the show or the case and I just don't have that time or the patience for it. Tom's may be long at times but I know he's going right to the updates first and then chatting with viewers after, and always in that order, and that's it.

Both though are on the very same page with it is clear RA is BG in this conversation. Imo news has done such a disservice in their coverage that some can't see that. It's been clear to me for a long time and only more clear now.

It was also nice to see Gray focused in on only talking the case where on his own channel that's not always the case as I said. A person can wait hours for him to get to it. They are only throwing things back and forth on the case and again he did not attend but Tom did, almost all of it, not quite so Gray asked him some things about what was said in the courtroom. And again, I'm not done with it yet either lol.

Yeah, some interesting stuff and discusson.

I also said it during the trial when I got disgusted with news. I found there was SO much more they weren't reporting than listening to Tom. Lauren later too. Etc. And THEIR notes. And news had teams and help. Go figure....

If you've got time, go listen to it or a bit a day which is what i do. Now that it's over, I'm not trying to keep up with each day of Tom's or the trial, etc. and so a long one, I can just go back to it and listen to more each time I get a chance. And most cases, ets. are failry dead right now, not atypical for this time of year.

This is also a very good one. Through 2/3 of it and easy listening, interesting. Both were at trial. I have to run but wanted to share.

Lots of tidibits and things and what happened with even trying to get in the one officer, even Gull but about the trial too. VERY good.

It's almost midnight here, December 1st it will be and just made me realize sentencing here is 19 days off as of then... Less than three full weeks now.

No point, just mentioning,

Yep - justice is coming. Sentencing is on my birthday.
Your birthday is that day? Near Christmas then, I will have to remember to wish you a happy one!

Yes, justice is coming. My prediction is he will get the max allowable or close to it. This was a heinous crime and targeted children.

I have Gray on right now (unusual for me), and he has a caller on talking of Lawyer Lee and the stuff she is selling, It's an interesting call. The caller is being respectful about her but stating how she plays the fringe people (my paraphrasing) for a lack of a better way of putting it. Meaning the ones that will believe any fantastic theory put out there other than RA did it. Some interesting calls with some good discussion as to those that fall for anything crazy put out there, etc.

VERY interesting. Interesting but also very worrisome the things some easily fall for.

For MOST thank goodness, it is so clear RA did this. I honestly don't see how anyone can miss this unless they are not putting all the things together that show it and purposely ignoring facts. Or having to explain too many away.

The caller I'm listening to right now has some great common sense. Interesting anyhow.

Anyhow, just an aside, but about this case.

I am awaiting and looking forward to a very serious sentence. And if I had to guess you'd ask for the same on your birthday,

Maximum sentence x 2 hopefully.

15 days. Almost 14. Two mere weeks.

Gag order should be lifted after that as well.

I can't wait for the families to get justice and him sentenced. Seriously. Talk about having gone through the wringer and worse.

I pray they also have a Christmas that while probably bittersweet bring some solace after that or a mere start of some.

Even though quiet in the case right now, it's on my mind a lot, as are the families. Of the girls.

i'm human and I don't have it for his family, sorry to say. I don't wish them bad but I do hope they get some clarity and help. If they don't, well too bad.

Delphi murders: No cameras in court for Richard Allen’s sentencing hearing

When Richard Allen learns his sentence this month, cameras won’t be in the courtroom to document it.

Special Judge Fran Gull denied a request from local media seeking to record the Dec. 20 sentencing hearing for Allen, who was convicted of four counts of murder in the February 2017 deaths of Abby Williams and Libby German near the Monon High Bridge.

Gull’s decision came as no surprise. Although she allowed cameras in court for an Oct. 19, 2023, hearing, she shot down every subsequent request from the media to record any of the proceedings in the high-profile murder case.
