LIBBY GERMAN & ABBY WILLIAMS: Indiana vs. Richard Allen for 2017 murder of two Delphi girls *TRIAL IN PROGRESS*

On February 14, 2017, the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German were discovered near the Monon High Bridge Trail, which is part of the Delphi Historic Trails in Delphi, Indiana, United States, after the young girls had disappeared from the same trail the previous day. The murders have received significant media coverage because a photo and audio recording of an individual believed to be the girls' murderer was found on German's smartphone. Despite the audio and video recordings of the suspect that have been circulated and the more than 26,000 tips that police have received, no arrest in the case has been made.[1][2][3]

Police have not publicly stated nor released details of how the girls were murdered.[6] As early as February 15, 2017, Indiana State Police began circulating a still image of an individual reportedly seen on the Monon High Bridge Trail near where the two friends were slain; the grainy photograph appearing to capture a Caucasian male, with hands in pockets, walking on the rail bridge, head down, toward the girls.[4] A few days later, the person in the photograph was named the prime suspect in the double-homicide.[5]

On February 22, law enforcement released an audio recording where the voice of the assailant,[7] though in some degree muffled, is heard to say, "Down the hill." It was at this news conference that officials credited the source of the audio and imagery to German's smartphone, and, further, regarded her as a hero for having had the uncanny foresight and fortitude to record the exchange in secret. Police indicated that additional evidence from the phone had been secured, but that they did not release it so as not to "compromise any future trial." By this time, the reward offered in the case was set at $41,000.[5]

Perhaps they want to check other crimes too?
Maybe, dates he wasn't at work or asked for off or maybe his wife thought he was working when he wasn't and when other crimes occurred... I don't know though that that kind of subpoena would fall under this case. They would get it I would think under the others they are looking into... And need enough cause to do so.

Sentencing in a few days for Kline. Cameras denied due to possible subject matter. Hmmm yeah and maybe discussing others.

"Despite an Indiana amendment that now allows cameras in courtrooms at the judge’s discretion, there will be no cameras at Kline’s sentencing.

According to our sister station WTHR in Indianapolis, Judge Timothy Spahr says this is because of the nature of the offenses and the possibility that sexually explicit materials or conduct will be discussed.

Spahr calls this “less-than-ideal” circumstances to begin recording and broadcasting court proceedings."

Given the nature of the offenses involved, there is the possibility that references will be made during said hearing to sexually explicit materials and/or sexually explicit conduct. Thus, the Court considers this to be a less-than-ideal set of circumstances for the breaking of new ground in Miami County in the realm of the recording and broadcasting of court proceedings by members of the news media.

It just occurred to me that maybe the suspect has been involved in developing photos for his paedo friends ring and that is why the CVS subpoena is needed. What do you think?
Good thought. I do think there is a pedo connection and that would be a very likely connection as would the drop box possibly.

I still feel there is something here with Kline that ties to RA even if Kline did nothing to Libby nor was present, nor helped, nor facilitaited...

Just coming here to post these two links after remembering KK's sentencing was due to have been on the 18th. Wondering WTH is going on? His attorney is withdrawing and he wants to reconsider his plea. One of these articles mentions factory resets on some of the victims phones.

We got an opportunity to speak with Kegan Kline to get his perspective on the sentencing hearing that wasn't and on why his attorney left his case.
You can find Rick Snay and Delphi after Dark at https://www.youtube.com/@rsnay

if this youtube link doesn't work then the podcast is available in the article above.

I have listened to about half of it so far. Some interesting points. He explains why he sacked his lawyer and is reconsidering his plea in the bit that I heard.

It is talking factory resets of some of his phones, not the victims' phones. At least that's what I read.

Kegan Kline will not withdraw guilty plea

Kegan Kline, the child porn suspect who ran a fake social media account State Police connected to the Delphi murders, will not withdraw his guilty plea.

Online court documents say that Kline on Wednesday submitted a notice of intent to not withdraw his guilty plea for the 25 felony charges against him.

Kline’s sentencing hearing is set for July 27. Prosecutors have asked that he get as much time in prison as possible.

Suspected killer of Delphi teens Libby and Abby reconsiders June bond hearing
Delphi teenagers Libby German and Abby Williams' suspected killer, Richard Allen, will not seek a bond hearing on June 15, as scheduled in February.
Can't read it as only available to subscribers.

i wonder why... I mean most bond hearings in such cases in my opinion are futile, however, they generlaly go for them anyhow, sometimes more than once.

I doubt they have a pot to pee in so maybe he figures even if he got it the money couldn't be raised...?

I think somebody convinced him he's safest in jail.

Delphi Murder Suspect Challenges CVS Subpoenas

Richard Allen, the prime suspect in the Delphi double murder case, and his league team are attempting to block subpoenaed evidence related to his former employer, CVS.

Allen and his legal team have filed a motion to quash the subpoenas, which is scheduled to be heard on June 15.

The subpoenas were served to CVS in May as part of the murder trial proceedings, revealing Allen’s employment history as a pharmacy technician at the Delphi location. CVS expressed in May its willingness to fully cooperate with investigators.
