His DNA would be on file if he was ever charged with a felony. Who he is wouldn't be held back by anyone. We'd know his name.
That's not true. Your own state can't do that until there is a conviction or at least it can't be run through Codis, etc. per the LISK thing. There are serious barriers and limitations per your laws there. And just another example, IN only a year or two ago passed a law where they can even TAKE DNA from someone arrested and charged. It was after Abby and Libby by a long shot.

They need to get the story behind the mystery DNA before they do it he's likely to get off on reasonable doubt. It only takes one juror to believe it.
The prosecution needs to understand it and make it clear to the judge that it isn't what the defense says it is and it isn't. When I get a moment, I am going to ask someone who covered this before to recover it and hope my question is seen. It isn't even huge. FEW know that though and the defense accomplished a HUGE feat in getting the judge and media to think it is and for the media to take off with it which convinced the public.

I agree though the misconception needs to be cleared up first and the prosecution needs to UNDERSTAND what it really is and be ready to make it clear.

I think there's a great chance Barry buried her here either initially or in moving her to fit right in with this DNA and/or the thoughts most of the nation were convinced of with a load of BS that was NOT taken apart by the prosecution as it should have been.

If they drag you off, up into the mountains, it arguable if
any searchers will find anything of a person.

As far as BM goes, there's more than doubt that he killed
SM now.
Not from what experts say of wild animal attacks. No shredded clothing or human skin at least?. Come on. That's what they say. And it wasn't even this case. They said there would definitely be evidence. They don't just drag you off unharmed. You are mauled. Lose skin, Remnants of clothes. Hair.

This is interesting. She says a bit about the headline and its meaning in the beginning. Then she goes into the bulk of the video of playing things from back when, Tyson's video with Barry, cops finding the bike video, etc. and more (good refresh on some of it) but you can skip the bulk once she goes to these things and go to 52 or 53 minutes in where from then on it is about the truck itself and how ol' Iris herself in the multi million lawsuit filed the Burla (I think it is Burla) report on the truck where an entry places Barry just 13 or 14 miles from this disposal site where she was found...

It hits a point even at this end part where I almost quit listening, thinking that was it but I continued and I suggest doing the same as she comes back quickly to the point and thoughts on it.

Barry is know to have turned in the opposite direction than he stated that day. Truck schematics or whatever you call them also put him near this disposal site within 15 minutes about. The date and time need to be known but I think one can figure the Burla report was obtained for the period of time in question.

She also wonders if Barry and his atty. will drop the lawsuit to avoid depositions and having to provide more info.

Nothing would be more poetic justice than if Iris herself placed Barry there filing this outrageous overblown lawsuit and the Burla report AND Barry's own greed did it to himself as well.

There are people out there who have never even thought or looked twice at this in relation to Barry bu just assumed this means he is innocent. And of course his attorney is trying to spin it into some serial killer/more victims thing. Unrelated victims. Not a THING or even time frame that connects them, not age, sex, how they went missing, when.

I think the opposite. I think this may be the lynch pin for Barry or provide at least a few more nails in HIS coffin.

Didn’t he have an interview on a road somewhere and he was saying we didn’t need to look for her in “such in such” an area? Is that where she was found?

I'm sorry but what about this hints at a serial killer? We have a male found there in July, Suzanne now, and I don't know specs or much about the case of Edna but I believe they are searching in the area she went missing which wasn't true of Suzanne. There aren't any similarities that I can see. Other than this is known as the Boneyard which just means the public knows it and so it means any killer would know it or figure it would just be where others dump and/or confuse authorities. It is like the desert outside of \Vegas, also known to be not an uncommon place, etc.
The fact that they are still searching. Edna was walking alone on a trail, Suzanne was cycling alone on a trail.

It must have been a strong enough reason to free him though. They clearly knew they wouldn't be able to convict with the DNA anomaly.

"The style of the hunting of the mountain lions is also very interesting as they are generally prone to “hunting at night and often lying in wait for prey or silently stalking it before pouncing from behind and delivering a lethal bite to the spinal cord.”
I guess if it dragged you off to eat you elsewhere, there wouldn't be much
except scuff marks to see at the attack place. You might not even be able
to make much of a sound, unlike bear attacks, where you might be able
to take the time to call out on your mobile while they are eating you, like
that girl in Russia..

The original case was dropped but they have recently arrested this guy again and indicted him. Posting for background. His MO fits.

This link no longer works so here is a newer link with updated info.

The department did not release specific details about the incidents other than they occurred in 2017 and 2020. The agency said officers did not submit the cases for charges because the victims were no longer cooperating or declined further contact.

“Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence. Most rapes aren't prosecuted,” said Jena Panas, CEO of the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence.

ABC15 filed a public records request for the police reports in the Phoenix cases nearly a month ago but has still not received the records.

“There is no real knowing how many victims of Estep are out there, that haven't come forward, because of the system that doesn't work,” Panas said.

Estep was indicted last month on 30 felony counts, including 20 counts of sexual assault. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said attacks on at least six alleged victims happened from 2018 to August of 2023 in Phoenix, Mesa, and Tempe.

Estep is being held without bond after he was accused of raping a teenager last month. Mesa police arrested him twice last year, but Maricopa County prosecutors declined to move forward with sexual assault charges, which allowed for his release from custody.

A month after he was released, Tempe police arrested Estep in August following an hours-long standoff at his Mesa home. Police say he violently raped a 15-year-old girl after offering her a ride at a light rail station.

Her bike wouldn't have any marks on it either then huh?.
Are there any cases of bicyclists being attacked by mountain lions? Not disputing your theory, as all theories are valid and should be covered. Are there also any cases of mountain lions taking the remains and burying them miles away. These are the questions. I just hope they can determine a COD after all this time and find DNA on the remains.

animals did NOT take her 50 miles away from her bike though.
