THIS JUST IN ~ CURRENT CRIME STORIES #2

Here's another link. As the perp is now dead and the abducted girl is safe then i don't see the need for a thread. It doesn't seem like any other perps were involved.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - 10:40 A.M. UPDATE:

Platte County Sheriff’s office confirmed the suspect, George C. Manning, III, killed a woman and stole her car at a car wash in Riverside just after 11:00 p.m. Thursday night. From there, he fled to a house in the 4400 block of NW 50th Street, where he went inside, killed a boy, and shot a second woman. The boy did die. The woman is hospitalized. It is at that house Manning took a 5-year-old girl that led to the Amber Alert. Early Friday morning, the girl was left with a relative physically unharmed. A short time later, the suspect was listed as dead in Riverside after a police-involved shooting.

8:50 a.m. UPDATE:

Missouri Highway Patrol reports an officer-involved shooting in Riverside, Mo., as a manhunt comes to an end for a man accused of shooting 3, killing 2, and abducting a 5-year-old girl who has since been safely reunited with her family.

6 a.m. UPDATE: CHILD LOCATED SAFE. SUSPECT STILL AT LARGE.

The Amber Alert issued for five-year-old Giuliana Manning has been canceled. At approximately 5:10 am, Giuliana was located and is safe, unharmed, and has been reunited with family members.

George C. Manning, the person of interest in the double homicide and child abduction remains at large. It is believed that George Manning is currently occupying a stolen vehicle in the metro area and should be considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information regarding the location of George C. Manning, call 911 or the Platte County Sheriff’s Office at 816-858-3521.

As the suspect is no longer believed to be on foot or in the 4400 block of NW 50th Street, there is no longer an immediate threat in that area.

So the homeowner is one being charged. I went to double check this, I thought so, and it took me forever to find an article that named him as the homeowner although I I know back when it happened the name was out there more and I was pretty sure that's who Willis was for anyone wondering since it did not point that out.

And he ends up fine as he did as far as not dying, never seeing nor helping the three others, then we have the supplier above it sounds like.

I'd think by now both the wives and parents would not be so naive as to think these men never did a drug in their lifetimes but the men probably trusted the source too, I mean the supplier and homeowner are not dead, they are just fine and being charged as they should be. It will probably end up a slap on the wrist. Sadly.

LE seems to want to tout their horn here too in that they did not ignore this and have been hard at work. Well bravo, bravo. And entered within two days or some such but we all know it was a mate of one that entered and knocked and tried to reach someone when her honey did not come home.

The victims were not lily white but it doesn't mean they expected to get what they got either, especially all three of them. They all end up dead outside but Mr. Willis is inside and just fine.

It does not seem like a very big deal is going to made of this but it should be, it's rampant in this country and a huge problem.

And yeah, it's great the suppliers are alive including the homeowner... And he tried to help--not. I see little reason either to give any credit to LE here... Thus far.

JMHO.

LE and people in office sure like to tout how well they did and be sure to grab all the credit they can.

However, it is great this child was found, taken by a noncustodial parent but was with two men it sounds like when found.

The US Marshals are part of it or "were", not part of the arrest though. They also thank things like Netflix for putting the story out.

God are they touting themselves. Yes, it's good they realized something was up when they got this trespass call BUT they didn't actively find him through investigation.

It's a great story and glad he was found but man they don't miss a chance do they...

Waterbury woman held stepson captive for decades, police say

Police noted a slide lock on the outside of the door frame of the room, the warrant said, which could be used to secure a door closed from the outside of the room.

Following involvement with the state Department of Children and Families, Sullivan pulled the victim from school, he told police, according to the warrant.
.

Also noted is that the bio father just died last year so it seems he was complicit to this.

I care so much and yet sometimes and with some I just can't go read them. We all do it, would all like to ignore, deny, too many stay in their bubble, etc. I make myself sometimes as too many do that and people NEED to yell, and CARE. Many, self included, are often like so long as we are safe and my loved ones are, let me live in that bubble... But the greater world goes to heck as people do that...I can't this week look at some things like the new thread you did @Cousin Dupree I went in but couldn't bring myself to read it or look further.

Maybe we all need to take turns or some can take it when others can't but people do NEED to expose and yell. I don't see the worst or the gruesome but of course we come across such.

Is anyone else going to yell about the DA getting off in Arbery by the way? Or is that just okay with all that were there when the case was going on?

A total flip there of case but where is everyone? You have threads about corrupt, etc. and where are your comments on that? It's okay???
