A 20-year-old soldier stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, is missing, and Army investigators are reaching out to the public for help finding her.

Pfc Vanessa Guillen was last seen wearing a black T-shirt early Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of her Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters, 3rd Cavalry Regiment. Her car keys, barracks room key, identification card and wallet were found in the armory room where she was working, Fort Hood said.

Mayra Guillen, the soldier’s sister, posted on Facebook that her sister’s phone was last pinged near Belton, about 20 miles east of the Army post. “Something is not right,” she wrote, “please help me find her.”

‘Extensive search’ continues for missing soldier in Texas after keys, wallet found

Agents at a U.S. military post in Texas are searching for a soldier who has been missing for three days.

Private First Class Vanessa Guillen, 20, was last seen Wednesday afternoon in a parking lot at Fort Hood, where she’s stationed, wearing a black T-shirt.

“Her car keys, barracks room key, identification card and wallet were later found in the armory room where she was working earlier in the day,” officials said in a press release.

Friends and family of Guillen have flooded their social media accounts with pleas to the public to contact the authorities if anyone has any information.

Mayra Guillen wrote on a Facebook post that her sister’s phone was last tracked on Belton, Texas, about 20 minutes away from where she was last seen. Neither her boyfriend or relatives have heard from her since she disappeared, she said.

“Please help me find my girlfriend,” Guillen’s boyfriend, Juan Cruz, tweeted on Friday. “Please anything helps.”

“An extensive search is underway by military members, as well as civilian and military police,” authorities said. Special agents from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command are also involved in the search.

This case is really eating at me today. I quit posting and sharing as just worn out but there are a few articles out there a few hours ago that they found more remains this afternoon, and it sounds like they are likely more of hers.

I am irate they are still protecting the names of those arrested so far as I can find. I was able to look at the inmate roster and narrow the females down to the one I think most likely is the civilian but not sure enough to say it.

And I sure hope they have body cam and/or witnesses of the alleged suicide because I am reading doubts out there already of who he would have turned in higher up and whether it was suicide... Who would have any faith after the way this was handled (not handled) and still seems to be...

I saw a few more videos/press things of her sisters and another politician backing them and the pain and anger is palpable. While they have garnered enough support that they finally got movement in this case, I don't know that i see the support that other recent cases have had when it is someone innocent at the hands of someone abusing their power.

As usual, Linda does a pretty good Podcast on covering the facts here worth watching. Of interest, if you don't have time to watch it all right now, is a list at 26 minutes in, look at the number of people connected to this base just in March who are dead, etc. And basically all unsolved. This is just for this year. It is striking.

I finally got around to watching this last night and I'm ticked off. Too many soldiers have lost their lives!

Yes, this place needs more than a minor clean-up. It is bigger than that. Imo.

If one looks at that list, I can't recall perfectly but they are all young. A few around 29 but most under 25. Something seems to be going on with new recruits and I still swear years ago off and on there were hints of the same but it all went under the rug.

Jut below the part about the evidence found, there is a short blip that mentions a press conference today, finally, by For Hood Officials. It also said that despite her disappearance, they promoted Vanessa Guillen on Monday to Specialist. I am going to refrain from commenting on that one... Well, except for, what a nice gesture, and I hope that is the media's words not the military's words, DESPITE HER DISAPPEARANCE??

Vanessa Guillen: Evidence found a week before remains were located matched what witness saw at Fort Hood

As far as I can find, this link should show the Fort Hood PC in about 40 minutes or so. Let's see if they seem more real than the thing last week or early this week when they acted like they were finally asking the public for help finding her. It is past TIME names are shared and no way do I believe one or two are all...

😕

WHAT??? There is NO way this does not go higher up, as they say, covering a room full of blood, battering someone on a base with a hammer??? And of course like ALL cases with victims who cannot speak, it is the WORD of someone else as to what happened. I seriously doubt she threatened to ruin his career since SHE was scared to death to even TELL. The mad emoji isn't even mad enough for me right now.

I also think Vanessa threatening him is BS. And I would like to know who called her in to work on her day off. There's alot more to this. Jmo

From your link:

At that point, an argument ensued, and Robinson allegedly told Guillen that she wouldn’t ruin his military career. He then grabbed a hammer and bludgeoned her to death, Kwaham said, leaving blood all over the armory room.

Although a witness saw Robinson leaving the base on April 22 with a Pelican case, no warrants were taken out until after investigators found the remains.

Robinson, according to family members, is the same person accused of sexually harassing Guillen.

Officials told Kwaham that Guillen’s face had been bludgeoned so badly that officials could barely use dental records since her teeth were smashed in during the gruesome attack. She was identified through strands of hair, Kwaham said.

The question still remains: How did the suspect manage to cover up an armory room full of blood?

“The whole place was filled with blood,” Kwaham said. “He was there between 10:30 and 11:13 in the room, which makes no sense. He kills and cleans up the whole crime scene in 43 minutes?”

Aguilar has since made bail on a third-degree felony charge.

So, there was blood ALL OVER the place where she was last seen. A man who worked in the SAME PLACE was seen leaving the base with a Pelican case. And NO warrants were issued?

That one article said there were two I think who called her in. I think I may blow my top listening to the tops at Fort Hood. As they try to save their own arses imo. There is no way higher ups have no knowledge of this or had no knowledge. I also await to hear more about the male soldier found in the same area. Just the other day that man was still listed as AWOL!

Well I sure hope some podcaster or news station can fix the audio in this. Half of the time I cannot even hear the guys at the podium on full volume.

Well I about give up. Guess I will watch later when there is real volume. What I could hear all sounds so good (well some) but the fact remains if this was hush to conduct a thorough investigation from day one, people might believe that if others have never had any results after being buried, and 2nd, if the family had been shown some respect, told some truth and had at least some nuggest shared to assure it was ongoing and active. There is and has been no SIGN of that here.
