For starters, I haven't worn belts in years. I used to, cute ones, etc. But I wear one for work now. Every time I come home I simply hang it over a chair for the next day. I live in a one bedroom apartment, have two cats and I have long hair. I can't and don't vacuum every day, etc. Never, not once, has there been hair in the buckle of the belt. It is everywhere else it sure shows up. It's metal. It is just not a naturally adhering or attracting surface. That may sound dumb but I know dealing with hair in a residence. And that's just the buckle. And the one hair. I have more.
But on that hair the belt was around the legs or was it ankles. of the victim. How does the wife's hair get there? I guess if she was doing the belt around the legs and bending over to do so, I can see that. I'm assuming the rest of the victim was bound already and legs last... IF alive at that point which we don't know.
EVERY scenario I think of, this is the most likely.
Now Crybaby could have planted them all is another possible scenario. But think of that. Taking a single few hairs one for this murder, a couple for another and putting just one or two on this or that... I don't know. Seems a bit more unlikely but possible.
I GUESS the hair could have been picked up when he was binding them and using the camo burlap... Let's just say they were laying on the couch or the marital bed when he wrapped them, belted them. I GUESS the hair could have been picked up in the buckle, inside the fold of burlap, etc. Oh and on the tape and with the same victim one near her head as the tape was too. I am finding that a bit difficult to believe and then on transport they stay and on tossing them.... I'm lost on that, not sure. And even then JUST these few.
From what we can tell cops don't seem to think she was involved which may be due to the fact she was supposedly out of town. BUT does that mean she was out of town when they died or were disposed of? NO. Those are times they were last seen or heard from or known to be alive. Imperfect at best. They TOOK a freezer. He had a ROOM in the basement. The family LIVED with him.
I'm not accusing and don't have any certainty but I AM saying I have not went all sympathy here for the wife or family. We simply don't know enough by a long shot. We don't know how his dad died. We know little about THIS family, the dynamics, the daily life, anything.
But back to the hairs. Explain that all to me. I for days on end and still figured most likely they were transfer hairs but now I just don't know with hearing more detail and time to think on it... There aren't a ton and they are in some very odd places.
