But, logically, you could use that same "bodily secretions from all the activities" to any property you buy that is not new, right? The old "you never know what goes on behind closed doors" thing. You don't know what you don't know.
Well no, not necessarily. For some reason I don't picture Asa cleaning it, sterilizing it, even sealing all with a coat of paint. I don't picture new outlet covers, toilets, or new flooring, etc. When you rent an apartment, it may be basic, but all of that is new. When you buy from a flipper most good ones gut it down to the studs almost. They at least resurface all. Most houses on the market are cleaned and many updated. And none I ever looked at were a home to a known serial killer that had prostitutes and swingers in it steadily over years. Or at least it is not KNOWN. And I have never bought or rented a place, no matter how clean, that I don't go in and do it all again anyhow.
I'm saying and I think emu is or was too (I am so lost in the threads and behind, sometimes I go in on one page and then go back) we have a bit of knowledge of who lived in this ome and what may have went on there including possibly killing and dead bodies who the heck knows but we know enough that for me, NO, I would not want it. Of course there is that any "used" home or apartment one does't know what went on or what is "there" but it isn't the same as knowing or having an inkling. I PERSONALLY would not live in that house. It may not bother some. I wouldn't even buy it if I had the $$ after a flipper took care of all inside and out because on top of it, I'd likely have nightmares about it ALL, him, her, the victims, what happened in the home, the marshy area, on the beach, Shannon and you name it. t is likely I would in any home in that are BUT this particular house most definitely.
And that just brought to mind the thought of how not only did this place as it was before the arrest likely bring down values of neighboring homes a bit, it probably truly has ow and if it hasn't, the assessment is not accurate. if I were a neighbor and had the money I would buy it and raze the home (adjoining neighbor) to change all one can and increase value of both my own and the neighborhood. But I'm not a neighbor and nope, never.
But to add one more point, I don't like what CB and her are pulling and I don't know about others out there that could buy, even if I wanted the place (ha ha), my values would never let me put money into THEIR pockets they are trying to take from victims, creditors and others. NOR help them. So I take back what I said about a neighbor buying it, no they shoudln't. BUT someone will and in their case, they could change what it is and the neighborhood and help themselves. I now say they offer $1 over highest bid if they HAVE to do it just to control it all and make it go away and better their area.
