The Long Island serial killer (also referred to as LISK, the Gilgo Beach Killer or the Craigslist Ripper) is an unidentified suspected serial killer who is believed to have murdered 10 to 16 people over a period of nearly 20 years.

Tell a lie. You have to tell another. Etc. Ditto. It snowballs. And if you tell different lies to different lies to different people. They eventually can't keep track of who they told what. Then get caught. Good! The truth never changes.

That's all true but I still don't think much of Peacock for doing this. Also I have a feeling she isn't going to share much of any value. She hasn't yet with LE, when reporters ask her and she won't in this plus she is represented and her lawyers are also involved in it and getting paid. They aren't going to let her be stupid. Imo.

Really?!!!! He's a fine one to talk. I'm sure it was to get back into the media. IT WORKED!!! IDIOTS!!! The last victim from 1994 that was identified in the last 2-3 months he denied. Very sad too. The woman was from the area. He gave LE 2 names he thought was her first name during the investigation when he was caught. Not even close. But with identification you deny it.

The sketch they show here. I definitely see the resemblance. His face and head are just bigger. Shrek. And I have a hard time seeing a sketch look like a suspect.

I see it too. MUCH of the face is the same. Not just resembling but basically dead on. Nose, lips, cheeks, bottom half, 2/3 of face. Eyes and brows COULD BE.

I disagree with emu on this one. He sees no resemblance. The bird lost his glasses again I think.

I do doubt all of the cases there mentioned were done by him. I think the highway ruse guy is possible.

So they claim or think he may have been practicing, however, he was already doing the escort thing and murders and had his MO... Doesn't seem to fit but who knows. I'm not one to say he couldn't have been doing different things in different areas... I think when they think SKs can't change it up, they are closing out cases they maybe shouldn't...

Why did he get so stupid as to go online to where he could be traced?. I'm glad. But a SK that doesn't want to get caught. This seems foolish. I still say he didn't start that late in life.

Yes the cheek depression is similar. However this was nearly 30 years ago so it should really be compared to his wedding photo or earlier photos of him. I don't really know why they are comparing it to his current mugshot.

My guess is because he wasn't online to speak of back in the day when he did these other than maybe getting a Craigslist number. Plus he used burner phones. It is recent years of searches once they got onto him and had warrants where they are seeing him search the case, the family members of victims and such isn't it? He had no reason to think anyone was onto a thing for all these years/decades even.

I think too his victims number more, and more sex workers.

A bit detail in here is that the man WAS said to be tall:

"The student’s sister said several witnesses had seen a tall white man in the area, and a couple of sketches were later made." Of course we have to consider it is the victim's sister who said this who thinks it is CB BUT she says other witnesses described a tall man.

I'm not so sure. I know some believe such AND I think there was even mention that that's what it is and why (said to be fact I mean, think I saw that somewhere), and I do entertain it too, BUT was LE behind his daughter's gofundme for Asa too? Both dad and daughter reaching out? I mean I guess it could be such ruses, they were using ruses in taking pizza, surveilling, etc. but seems unlikely. Why would they think CB would confess knowing LE was behind it? It really doesn't make much sense unless some dumb prison warden or LE officer thought it would be some great idea and on which end? I don't even know where Happy is located? I don't like using their sk names so I have to stop that but again, who and where, I just never can think of his real name off the top of my head.

I agree with @Mel70 too in that Rader and Hap and others don't need to come back to attention, they thrive on it and want it. I guess it's different if they like want the attention to cause them to start talking and maybe get them for another murder, even if it means getting them attention that they seek. I doubt etiher's victims are all known or proven.

I looked it up and he is in Oregon so I find it a bit hard to beleive NY talked to OR or went to OR to get old Hap to write CB. Seems far fetched to me.

Now I know that Chad and Lori can write each other, doesn't mean they do, that was actually covered in a show I watched the last week or so. I think it was Nate's. We were all never sure but nothing prohibits it from what I understand.

I don't THINK a convict can write to another convict pretty sure I've also heard that in the last month or two but not sure if that is an everywhere law or certain states. But CB is NOT a convict and so it I'd think wouldn't be barred. But neither man is dumb enough to not know they are read and they certainly do now with news all over it. They weren't born yesteday. And of course Hap knows, he's been in the system for years.

So I really don't know that investigators would put the OR SK up to this. Seems a stretch to me. And a weak attempt if that is what it is.

Agree. SK's daughters starting Gofundmes for wifes of other SKs, a wife WHOSE DNA was on victims. SAme wife who gets paid a million to do a show while victims' families have suffered for decades and no one runs to do this for them. I doubt Peacock offered each and every one of them that. Now the dads or hubs writing each other. And Rader coming up too in all this and his daughter, JUST as it did in the ID 4. Asa with a lawsuit as well. Protecting and selling assets and a "fake" divorce, etc. It's ALL ethically WRONG.

Now I have TRIED to be fair and I like Keri (R's daughter) on occasion and even at times think she means well BUT there are things I don't like too and that shine through quite often. And I don't know how to say this nicely and I keep trying to think of a way around it but she has one similarity to her dad and that's a self importance, smugness and feeling they are smarter than others OR which also can be the case with such too, a NEED to feel that way.

They need to all STOP. At least with jumping on a ship of a man and wife we have no idea whether EITHER is innocent. The girls seem to have dropped from the scene probably due to all of the flack. But now we have Hap.

I feel for the fact the children of these men went through what they did but it doesn't make this right and honestly I'm no expert, but I think making their lives and even careers almost about their dads in a way may not be the best idea for their own sakes and health. Jmo and I'm sure some won't like it

But it's all been VERY weird including attys. rushing to Asa's side, TV shows, and far more. And the GFM and so forth. Downright strange. And all before we even took in there was an arrest almost. And I don't mean in the normal way reporters or others will coming knocking and hounding over any salacious story, what has happened here is far beyond that and way more than that. Again jmo.

Oh boy what the heck is going on. Bitroff is due in SUFFOLK County Court tomorrow from PRISON. I gather he also was to have a hearing in November that was unreported on and BOTH hearings seem to be flying under the radar and news has not picked up on (go figure). This is a must listen. Imo. Not long. Something is up. Bitroff was looked at for the LISK murders. He also is in prison for two murders and is not SK status as he only is convicted of two BUT his going to court under the statute they are is meaningful. Also, Bitroffs victims it was said had DNA from more than one person, multiple even or suspected victims, forget if all or the ones he was convicted of...

All I have to say is whoa boy... I don't think this is a nothingburger....

Oh and as a sad add/aside to the Bitroff stuff in this video is the politiics going on in Suffolk and dirty sh*t yet again. Can we even TRUST the DA and people in this system? Or should i say STILL going on.

VERY interested in everyone's take on this Bitroff bit... He won't go down the rabbit hole outright of what he thinks it means, he stays away from that kind of speculation, but you can read between the lines.

The reason I think LE are behind the release of the letter is because it is CB's letter that was released. Who would have access to that? Only the prison, and the recipient right?

It is weird for sure.
