A sheriff's office in Alabama issued an alert Friday night after an inmate and the assistant director of corrections went missing earlier in the day. Authorities said the inmate, who was being held on capital murder charges, should be considered "armed and extremely dangerous."

Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton told reporters Friday night that Vicki White, a 25-year veteran at the department, left the local detention center with Casey Cole White at 9:41 a.m. He said she told other officials she was going to drop him off at the courthouse for a mental health evaluation and then was going to seek medical attention because she wasn't feeling well. Despite having the same last name, the two are not related.

Shortly after 11 a.m., someone found her patrol vehicle in a parking lot of a shopping center. At 3:30 p.m., officials became aware that no one had been able to contact her, and that the inmate had not been returned to custody.

They have a live coming up in just a couple of minutes here today. Another thing I like about these guys is they are retired I think and do this pretty full-time, it isn't like you see them put out a video only ever once in awhile. And they are very ON this case.

I'm not great or able to keep up with all lately but these guys are about one of my favorites these days but I don't think to check all of the time and don't get to always watch. Most likely know there are or were a few retired cops or detectives on YT and I've watched several but I really like these two. They aren't condescending, have some humor and are just informative, real, personable. They touch on the sheriff in this case and the possible errors in locating the car and realizing it was abandoned days ago but also point out this happens even in big departments, etc. Anyhow, they are also good and better every day on staying on top of what they do follow for cases.

@Kimster I should tell you on this one at about 24:30 in Bill does kind of insult Dog the Bounty Hunter calling him a cartoon character lol. He makes nice about it a bit later but lol he does point out some things about him like 10,000 fugitives seems a bit high, etc... I think it's kind of a fun spot in the video...

That’s what DIL and I were saying last night.
She though is the one who could more easily move around in disguise imo, if she enters a store, hotel lobby, purchases a vehicle, rents a car, etc. alone. That might save her for the moment, If he though gets somewhere he feels relatively safe or has help, she is history imo.

He has sooooo many things that are hard to cover up. Tattoos, height and I'm not being mean but factual--his ears... There isn't much that would cover the ears other than a winter type of hat maybe or long hair... The tattoos are why I tend to think they wouldn't head for warm climates...

So neither has been found yet? I'm just so drained I can't keep up with life
Not as of this morning as far as I know. I haven't had a chance to check since and even then that is as far as I knew, shared the thing above, didn't get a chance to catch maybe 30 seconds of it midstream and it seemed no new news as far as catching them.
