Got my Masters degree from here. :(

Killer who stabbed 4 Idaho students to death still at large

The killer — or killers — who stabbed four University of Idaho students to death remained at large Tuesday, prompting many students to leave the campus in the idyllic small town despite police assurances that there was no imminent risk to the community.

So many students had left the scenic tree-lined campus in Moscow, Idaho, by Tuesday that university officials said a candlelight vigil scheduled for the next day would instead be held after the Thanksgiving break.

The students, all close friends, were found dead in an off-campus rental home around noon on Sunday, and officials said they likely were killed several hours earlier. Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt told the Spokane, Washington-based television station KXLY that her preliminary investigation showed the students were stabbed to death. There is no indication that substance use was involved in the deaths, Mabbutt said.

I think that's subjective because I don't think he does.

For example the image below is what I would describe as bushy eyebrows.

Those are the bushiest, that's for sure! Wow!

Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger’s parents hire crime scene reconstruction expert

Accused killer Bryan Kohberger’s defense team has hired a veteran Washington state crime scene reconstruction expert.

Forensic expert Matthew Noedel, owner and operator of Noedel Scientific, and his team spent five hours inside the home on 1122 King Street, Moscow, where four University of Idaho students were brutally stabbed on Nov. 13.

While Kohberger faced a Pennsylvania judge on Tuesday and agreed to be extradited to Idaho, Noedel’s team painstakingly examined the inside of the three-story house and the perimeter of the property, which had earlier been combed for evidence by police forensic teams.

The Post confirmed with Moscow Police Kohberger’s legal team, including his state-appointed defense attorney Anne Taylor, was at the home Tuesday.

Noedel was seen going in and out of the home wearing white gloves and surgical foot covers over his shoes.

According to his website, Noedel’s specialities include crime scene reconstruction, bloodstain pattern analysis and shooting reconstruction.
I'm glad they were able to examine the scene. Can I assume this is why they didn't turn over the property to the landlord when they said it was going to be turned over to him?

This new information gives a lot of credence to Kaylee stating she had a stalker. All the hits his phone made in the days before the murders are interesting. I wonder how he chose her?
Did Roundpeg look at the menu where the girls worked and saw they serve vegetarian food? Maybe he wandered in there and saw her. She was beautiful! That's just one theory that's in my head. NOT fact.

I can't imagine how he could be at all helpful.
The ability to see the scene of the crime and not go to court saying the investigators made up evidence is helpful, IMO. I've seen defense attorneys throw out speculations to the jury based on the fact of the unknown. At trial we'll find out for sure who it helped, if it helps at all.

5'10" - 6', non muscular build, bushy eyebrows

Very vague, imo, for a person especially in a college town. That description would fit quite a large population of men.

Still waiting for that 'aha' moment so to speak that a jury wouldn't dispute.
5'10" at minimum- "5'10" or taller" was her description, but also bear in mind that by that time of reviewing the license, it was recognized that his address was a mere 3/4 mile from the last camera that showed the "suspect" vehicle return from the scene of the murders.

I'm not sure he saw he there. Maddie and Xena worked there. IMO, if anyone was specifically targeted, it was Maddie. The knife sheath was found next to her.

The Mad Greek is the restaurant. Supposedly, you could ask for vegan options.

Their menu is online. When I looked at it, I saw only one item on the far right clearly labeled as "Vegan Pizza". There was another type of pizza a few items down the menu that said "This can be adapted to be vegan-ask us" or something like that. Mad Greek is apparently a small chain that is based in CA and has several outlets in the PNW.

That will come out in time. They don't have to have that in the PCA. There will be more released in the discovery process and even more at trial.

Based on what's out there, I am not ready to convict him yet. But it IS compelling enough for an arrest warrant, which is what they got. And it's definitely compelling enough for him to have some explaining to do. You don't have to be caught with the murder weapon leaving the scene to be found guilty.

They will also now get to process his car, apartment, computer, etc. which could lead to more evidence.

Prosecution is not required to provide a motive for the killings, correct? Although it looks and sounds better to a jury if they are able to do so? Not just in this case, but in any murder case there is no burden of proof as to a motive?

No, they don't. However, it's a much tougher sell if no motive is given. I'm wondering if one of the girls laughed at him when he approached them or some sort of other slight that set him off and on to planning these deaths.

Still no definitive word on whether or not he was an incel. If he is, that might help establish more of a motive.
